California Design Den 840307194251 600-Thread-Count California King Cotton Sheets

Some bed sheets are chosen for a crisp, simple finish, others bring a smoother surface and a subtle sheen to the bed. This California King set takes the latter approach with 600-thread-count, 100% long-staple cotton in a sateen weave, finished in beige.

The set is sized for one California King mattress, with a fitted sheet designed for mattresses 8 to 16 inches deep. All-around elastic helps hold it in place, while top-and-bottom tags make orientation easier during bed making.

What it works with

This set is made for a California King mattress—not a split king. The fitted sheet’s 16-inch pocket depth accommodates mattresses from 8 to 16 inches deep, and its all-around elastic is designed for a secure fit. Top-and-bottom indicator tags help identify the sheet’s orientation, making it easier to position the longer sides correctly as you make the bed.

Everyday use

The sateen weave gives the cotton a smooth hand and a soft sheen, creating a more polished look than a matte sheet finish. The fabric is described as breathable, with a structured yet balanced feel for year-round use. Which matters more at bedtime: a smooth surface or a more understated finish? For shoppers drawn to a silky-smooth feel and subtle luster, this set makes that preference the center of the bedding choice.

The four-piece arrangement covers the mattress and provides two matching king-size pillowcases. The pillowcases have a classic open end, while the fitted sheet’s elastic runs all around its edge. For routine care, machine wash warm and tumble dry low, removing the sheets promptly can help reduce wrinkles. The cotton is also tested for shrinkage, pilling, and fading, supporting regular laundering as part of everyday bedding care.
