California Design Den 600 Thread Count Queen Cotton Sateen Sheet Set, Brick Red

For a queen bed, these California Design Den sheets bring together long-staple cotton, a smooth sateen weave, and a rich brick red color. The 600 thread count fabric has a subtle sheen and a soft feel, while the fitted sheet’s all-around elastic helps keep it in place on mattresses from 8 to 16 inches deep.

The four-piece set gives you the core layers for a coordinated bed, with tags that identify the fitted sheet’s head and foot sides for easier bed making.

Best use cases

Use this set to refresh a queen bed with cotton sheets that feel smooth and look polished. The sateen weave gives the fabric a soft finish and gentle luster, making brick red a distinctive choice for a solid-color bedding scheme. Long-staple cotton and a breathable feel also make the set suitable for year-round use, from warmer nights to cooler seasons.

The fitted sheet is designed for mattresses 8 to 16 inches deep and has elastic all the way around. That full-perimeter grip supports a secure fit, while the head-and-foot tags make it easier to orient the sheet as you make the bed. The set includes a flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and two standard/queen pillowcases with open-end designs.

Strengths

The fabric combines 100% long-staple cotton with a 600 thread count sateen weave. That construction gives the sheets their smooth hand feel and subtle sheen, pairing a refined look with the natural breathability of cotton. The dense, structured feel offers a different bedding choice from shoppers who prefer a lighter, crisper style, here, the emphasis is on smoothness and a softly luminous finish.

The Good Housekeeping Seal reflects independent testing, and the fabric carries OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification. The sheets are also tested for shrinkage, pilling, and fading. For everyday care, machine wash warm and tumble dry low, removing the sheets promptly after drying can help reduce wrinkles.

Worth noting

This is a coordinated four-piece queen set rather than a collection of separate pieces: one flat sheet, one fitted sheet, and two pillowcases. The finished sizes are 90 x 102 inches for the flat sheet, 60 x 80 inches for the fitted sheet, and 21 x 32 inches for each pillowcase. The pillowcases have classic open ends, and the set’s solid brick red color keeps the bed’s look simple and consistent.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when you want queen-size cotton bedding with a smooth sateen finish, a subtle sheen, and a warm, solid color. Its deep-pocket fitted sheet, all-around elastic, and orientation tags address practical bed-making needs, while the matching flat sheet and pillowcases complete the bed in one purchase. It’s a considered fit for shoppers who value cotton’s breathable feel and prefer a polished, smooth surface for everyday bedding.
