California Design Den 600 Thread Count California King Cotton Sheet Set, Blue

Some sleepers prefer crisp, lightweight bedding, others want a smoother, more substantial feel. This California Design Den sheet set pairs 100% long-staple cotton with a 600-thread-count sateen weave for a soft hand and subtle sheen, bringing a polished look to a California king bed.

The fitted sheet has all-around elastic and a 16-inch pocket, while top-and-bottom tags help orient it when making the bed.

Fit and sizing

Designed for one California king mattress—not a Split King—this four-piece set includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and two king pillowcases. The fitted sheet is made to fit mattresses from 8 to 16 inches deep. Its all-around elastic helps hold the sheet in place, and the head-and-foot indicators make it easier to position correctly. Finished dimensions are 108 by 106 inches for the flat sheet, 72 by 84 inches for the fitted sheet, and 21 by 40 inches for each pillowcase.

The solid blue color gives the bed a simple, coordinated finish. For a practical setup, identify the fitted sheet’s top and bottom tags before stretching it over the mattress, the elastic edge helps secure it around the corners.

Pros

Long-staple cotton in a sateen weave creates a smooth surface with a soft sheen, giving the bed a more refined look without relying on a printed pattern. The fabric is described as breathable and suitable for year-round use, so it can work as everyday bedding across changing seasons. Its structured feel also offers an alternative to sheet sets chosen primarily for a crisp, lightweight finish.

Care is straightforward: machine wash warm and tumble dry low. Removing the sheets promptly from the dryer can help reduce wrinkles. The fabric has been tested for shrinkage, pilling, and fading, and the set carries the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification. Buyers often praise the softness, comfort, fit, and appearance, comments on durability and wrinkle resistance are mixed, so experiences vary.
