California Design Den 840307135285 California King Sheet Set, 600-Thread-Count Sateen

The essentials

Made from 100% long-staple cotton, this California king sheet set pairs a 600-thread-count sateen weave with a ticking stripe print. The fabric has a crisp, soft feel and a lustrous finish. A Good Housekeeping Seal and OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification are documented for the set, adding useful credentials to its everyday bedding appeal.

The four-piece set includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and two king pillowcases. The striped design brings a defined pattern to the bed without relying on a bold print, while the cotton sateen construction offers a breathable feel described for use in all seasons. Machine washing and tumble drying make routine care straightforward.

How it fits

The fitted sheet is sized for one California king mattress and has a 16-inch pocket, durable all-around elastic, and a fit range for mattresses 8 to 16 inches deep. Indicator tags mark the head and foot sides, helping orient the sheet when making the bed. The flat sheet measures 108 inches wide by 106 inches long, and each pillowcase measures 21 by 40 inches to fit king-size pillows.

What makes the fit easier to manage? The all-around elastic helps hold the fitted sheet in place, while the side indicators remove guesswork about which way to position it. The set is intended for a standard California king mattress, not a split king, so it suits a single mattress setup.

Best use cases

Choose this set when you want cotton bedding with a smooth sateen weave and a subtle striped look for a California king bed. Its breathable, all-season construction makes it suitable for regular use across changing seasons, while the 16-inch fitted-sheet pocket accommodates mattresses within its stated depth range. The ticking stripe works well when you want a little pattern but prefer bedding that remains easy to coordinate with solid-color blankets and comforters.

For a practical bedroom refresh, pair the fitted and flat sheets with the two king pillowcases for a coordinated bed. The cotton fabric can be machine washed and tumble dried, removing it promptly from the dryer can help reduce wrinkles. The sheets are also described as tested for shrinkage, pilling, and fading, supporting their place in a frequently used bedding rotation.

What to clarify
