California Design Den 840307127280 King Sheet Set, 600-Thread-Count Cotton Sateen

Everyday use

The smooth sateen weave gives these California Design Den king sheets a soft feel and subtle sheen, while the breathable, 100% long-staple cotton is suited to year-round bedding. The light gray solid color adds a cool-toned neutral to the bed, and the fitted sheet’s all-around elastic helps it stay in place on mattresses from 8 to 16 inches deep.

The four-piece set includes a flat sheet, a fitted sheet, and two king pillowcases. Top-and-bottom tags make it easier to orient the fitted sheet while making the bed. For a straightforward bedroom refresh, the coordinated pieces provide a consistent look without choosing each sheet separately.

Benefits

A 600-thread-count sateen weave gives the fabric a smooth, softly lustrous finish, with a structured feel that balances weight and lightness. Cotton’s natural breathability supports comfortable use across the seasons, and the fabric is described as becoming softer with washing. The fitted sheet measures 78 by 80 inches, and its deep pocket accommodates a range of mattress depths while the elastic runs all around the edge.

The set is machine washable and can be tumble dried, the care guidance recommends warm washing and low heat, with prompt removal from the dryer to help reduce wrinkles. The fabric is tested for shrinkage, pilling, and fading. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 certification and the Good Housekeeping Seal are additional details for shoppers who consider textile testing when selecting bedding.

Customer feedback often praises the soft feel, comfort, appearance, and fit, including on deeper mattresses. Experiences with durability and wrinkle resistance are mixed: some buyers say the sheets wear well, while others report tearing or wrinkles. Those comments offer useful context alongside the product’s care and fabric details.

Highlights

This set is a practical choice for replacing a full king sheet set with coordinated cotton sateen pieces. The pillowcases measure 21 by 40 inches and have a classic open-end design. The flat sheet measures 112 by 102 inches. The light gray shade is described as a soft neutral with a cool undertone, making it easy to pair with a range of bedroom colors.

Compared with buying individual sheets and pillowcases, the four-piece set brings the matching essentials together in one purchase. It makes sense if you want a smooth-feel cotton sateen set, a neutral solid color, and a fitted sheet designed for mattresses up to 16 inches deep.
