BVBOX STC Stove Top Cover, 28" x 20" Absorbent Non-Slip Cooktop Mat

For households that need more usable counter space when the electric stove is off, the BVBOX STC covers the cooktop with a 28" x 20" surface. Its absorbent fabric top can catch everyday water spills, while the textured natural rubber backing helps keep the mat in place. Choose it when you want a flexible prep or drying surface, a dedicated countertop mat is a better fit when you don’t need cooktop coverage.

Fit and sizing

At 28" x 20", this cover provides a broad surface across an unused electric stove. Compare those dimensions with the area you want to cover when choosing a cooktop mat. It can serve as an extra place for food prep, dishes, or small appliances in kitchens where counter space is at a premium, including apartments and RVs. The hanging loops also make it easy to store the mat on a wall hook between uses, or you can fold or roll it into a drawer.

Place it only after the stove has cooled completely. That simple step matters because the mat is intended to cover a cooktop when it is not in use, not to stay on the stove during cooking. When the cooktop is clear, the cover helps shield the glass or ceramic surface from dust, pet paws, and everyday contact, while its cushioning barrier helps protect against scratches and general wear.

Why it makes sense

The fabric surface absorbs water and grease splatters, making the cover useful beyond protecting the stove. Use it as a dish-drying mat, a countertop protector, or a pad beneath a coffee machine. The non-slip rubber backing helps prevent shifting or bunching while you set down dishes or work on the covered surface. That combination makes it a practical choice for someone who wants both cooktop coverage and a multipurpose kitchen mat, rather than a protector intended for storage alone.

Care is straightforward: machine wash the mat or wipe it with a damp cloth. After washing, use the two built-in hanging loops to air-dry it. For a tidy kitchen, hang it up when cooking or access to the cooktop is needed, then lay it back over the fully cooled stove when the surface is no longer in use.
