Getting the most from it
Use the Bose app to adjust bass, mid-range, and treble for the sound you want. The app also lets you check the speaker’s battery, add shortcuts, and manage synced devices, so everyday controls are close at hand.
For a shared playlist, pair two SoundLink Plus speakers or connect to another compatible Bose portable speaker. Choose Stereo Mode to hear balanced sound from each source, or Party Mode to play the same audio simultaneously. These options let you tailor playback to the group and setting.
The USB-C charging port can also charge a phone directly from the speaker. That gives you a practical way to keep a device powered during an outing, alongside music from the same portable unit.
Tips for day-to-day use
Carry it by the loop or pack it in a backpack or gym bag for music away from home. For longer listening sessions, the up-to-20-hour battery life offers room for extended use, and a full charge takes approximately five hours. Its dust- and waterproof design supports outdoor use, while the app provides a quick way to check the battery and shape the sound before or during a gathering.
When it makes sense
The SoundLink Plus is a fitting choice when portability matters as much as sound: bring it to an outdoor get-together, keep it close during a day out, or move it between listening spots instead of setting up a speaker that stays in one place. Its carrying loop, durable exterior, and long battery life suit music on the go, while Bluetooth, app-based sound adjustment, and speaker pairing give you ways to adapt playback to the occasion. Choose it for portable listening with outdoor-ready protection and useful controls in one speaker.
