Bose 895491-0400 QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen), Wireless ANC, Dewdrop Mint
Product description
The over-ear Bose QuietComfort Headphones (2nd Gen) in Dewdrop Mint combine a full-ear fit with adjustable noise control, giving music, video, and calls a dedicated listening setup.
Choose Quiet Mode to focus on audio with noise cancellation, or Aware Mode to let more of your surroundings through. Immersion and Cinema Mode add more ways to shape listening for different content.
For everyday flexibility, connect wirelessly over Bluetooth or use a wired USB-C connection for lossless audio. The headphones also include a carrying case and audio cable for listening on the go.
Best use cases
These headphones suit commutes, travel, and home listening when you want over-ear comfort and control over how much outside sound reaches you. Quiet Mode is made for listening with noise cancellation, while Aware Mode offers a more open option when you want to hear your surroundings. ActiveSense technology adjusts noise reduction in Aware Mode to smooth sudden changes in unwanted sound.
At home, TrueSpatial technology brings an immersive presentation to audio, and Cinema Mode is designed for video with layered sound and clear dialogue. For a long listening session, the adjustable headband and lightweight design support a comfortable fit. When you want to switch from wireless convenience to a wired connection, USB-C provides lossless audio playback.
Strengths
The range of listening modes is a practical advantage: you can choose between noise cancellation, awareness, immersive audio, a cinema-focused mode, or turning noise reduction off. Rather than relying on a single sound setting for every situation, you can tailor the experience to music, video, or your surroundings. Improved background-noise reduction for calls helps make your voice easier to hear in environments with ambient sound.
A wider sliding headband, pill-shaped earcups, and supple synthetic leather on the earcups and headband bring together a streamlined look and a secure, lightweight feel. Customer feedback also frequently highlights sound quality, comfort, and noise cancellation, with some buyers noting that the headphones worked well for extended listening and travel.
The 24-hour maximum battery life with noise cancellation engaged gives you room for extended listening between charges. If you prefer a wired listening setup, the included 3.5 mm-to-USB-C audio cable and USB-C lossless audio offer an alternative to Bluetooth. This combination makes the QuietComfort a flexible choice for shoppers who want both wireless listening and a direct wired option.
