bonsaii C233-B Auto-Feed Micro-Cut Paper Shredder, P-4, 120-Sheet

For a home office that handles batches of paperwork, the bonsaii C233-B offers automatic feed for up to 120 sheets of paper. Its P-4 micro-cut produces pieces measuring 5/32" x 15/32". Need to switch from a stack of documents to individual items? Manual mode handles up to 12 sheets, along with mail, cards, and staples.

Key takeaways

Automatic feeding lets you load a paper stack rather than feed every sheet by hand, while the separate manual mode supports smaller jobs and mixed items. The P-4 micro-cut is designed for document disposal where a finer cut matters, its specified particle size is 5/32" x 15/32". A 30-minute automatic run time gives you room to process paperwork in batches, and the 6-gallon pullout bin helps collect the shredded material. The bin’s 360-degree casters make it easier to move the unit around a home office.

The stated sound level is 62 dB. That can be a useful detail when choosing a shredder for a shared workspace or a room where noise matters. Compared with a manual-feed-only approach, the C233-B’s auto-feed tray is suited to larger paper stacks, while the manual slot covers mail, cards, and staples. Automatic feeding is for paper only, follow the stated operating cycles for each mode. Avoid spraying or storing aerosol products in or around the shredder, and do not shred metallic credit cards.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use auto mode for paper batches of up to 120 sheets, and manual mode for up to 12 sheets or individual items such as mail, cards, and staples. The automatic cycle is 30 minutes on followed by 60 minutes off, manual operation is 10 minutes on followed by 60 minutes off. This makes it practical to plan document disposal around separate work sessions rather than treating the shredder as a continuous-use appliance. Pulling out the 6-gallon bin gives you access for emptying, and the casters help reposition the shredder when needed.

Who it’s for

The C233-B suits home-office users who regularly clear paper stacks and want a micro-cut shred rather than a basic strip cut. It also serves people who need a manual option for smaller loads or staples and cards. Buyers commonly praise its quiet operation and reliability, while feedback on speed and long-term durability is mixed, those experiences are individual impressions, not a guarantee of future performance. The stated 62 dB sound level and defined run cycles offer practical details for deciding where and how to use it.
