BOLIAN MXA-MPJ-01 46-Inch Cat Scratching Post with Sisal, Brush and Toys

When an adult cat wants to stretch upward and scratch, a short post may not offer the same full-body reach. The BOLIAN MXA-MPJ-01 stands 46 inches tall and is wrapped in sisal rope. Its attached play features and grooming brush give cats more to explore in one freestanding indoor setup.

What you’ll notice day to day

The 46-inch height gives adult and large cats room to extend while scratching, making this a vertical activity spot as well as a place to work their claws. Sisal’s textured surface provides a dedicated scratching area, placing a post like this where your cat already spends time can help direct that natural behavior toward the post rather than household furnishings.

There’s more to do than scratch. A built-in track has rotating wooden balls for batting, while dangling teaser balls invite swatting and jumping. The post also has a soft rubber grooming brush that cats can rub against. Together, these features make it useful for short bursts of play and rubbing between naps, without needing a separate climbing structure. The green finish and floral, plant, and other playful design themes add a decorative touch to the room.

What to know

This is a freestanding post with a 15.7-by-15.7-inch base and a 46-inch height. Its listed materials include sisal, wood, carpet, and cardboard. The package contents include the scratching post, a cat wand, a dangling ball, and an instruction manual. It is recommended for kittens and medium-to-large cats, with indoor use suited to keeping the post in a dry area.

Compared with a compact scratcher, the taller vertical format is the practical choice when your cat prefers an upward stretch and you want scratching and play features together. A small horizontal scratch pad serves a different routine, this post puts the emphasis on standing, climbing, and reaching. Buyers often describe assembly as straightforward and like the appearance and height. Feedback on stability and durability is mixed, including some reports of the base breaking, so set it up according to the instructions and place it on a level surface.

Cleaning & care

Spot-clean the post with a damp cloth. Keep the sisal rope and rubber brush dry, and keep the product indoors in a dry place. This care routine helps preserve the materials cats use for scratching and rubbing.

Buying verdict

It suits you if your cat enjoys vertical scratching, full-body stretching, and interactive play in one freestanding spot. The 46-inch sisal-wrapped post, ball features, and grooming brush make it a purposeful fit for homes looking to give an adult or larger cat more ways to scratch, bat, and climb indoors.
