Blink Outdoor 2K+ and Mini 2K+ Security Camera System, 6 Cameras, Black
Product description
Keep an eye on indoor rooms and outdoor areas with a six-camera Blink system that combines wire-free Outdoor 2K+ cameras with a plug-in Mini 2K+. The mix gives you options for placing cameras around the home: mount the outdoor units without a power cord, and use the Mini wherever an outlet is available.
Each camera records in 2K, with up to 4x zoom to help capture more detail in the view. The kit also includes a Sync Module Core and mounting hardware for setup.
Tech summary
- Cameras: Five Blink Outdoor 2K+ cameras and one Blink Mini 2K+
- Video: 2K resolution, with up to 4x zoom
- Outdoor camera power: Two AA Energizer lithium batteries per Outdoor 2K+, with up to two years of battery life
- Mini camera power: Plug-in operation
- Included: Sync Module Core, 10 AA Energizer lithium batteries, mounting kit, USB-C cable for the Sync Module, and power cords for the Sync Module and Mini 2K+
The Outdoor 2K+ cameras are designed for indoor or outdoor use, while the Mini 2K+ provides plug-in coverage indoors. That combination is useful when one camera location needs a power cord and another is better suited to a wire-free mount. Night vision shows color in low light and automatically switches to black and white in near darkness, helping adapt the image as lighting changes.
Practical tips
Choose camera locations based on the areas you want to view, then use the included mounting kit for the Outdoor 2K+ units. Their battery-powered design avoids the need to run a power cord to each outdoor camera. For the Mini 2K+, select an indoor spot near an outlet so it can stay plugged in. The included USB-C cable is for the Sync Module Core, and the power cords are for the Sync Module and Mini.
Person and vehicle detection is available with an optional Blink plan, sold separately. If those alerts matter for your setup, factor the plan into how you intend to use the cameras.
Getting the most from it
Use the mix of cameras to cover different kinds of spaces rather than relying on one placement style throughout the home. For example, mount an Outdoor 2K+ near an entry or outdoor area and plug the Mini 2K+ into an outlet in an indoor room. With 2K resolution and up to 4x zoom, the cameras offer more image detail and viewing flexibility when checking footage. The automatic shift to black-and-white vision in near darkness is suited to areas where lighting can drop after dark.
The system includes five Outdoor 2K+ cameras and one Mini 2K+, so you can plan coverage around a combination of wire-free and plug-in locations. Its approach differs from a set made entirely of plug-in cameras: the Outdoor units give you more choice for mounting locations, while the Mini offers a straightforward powered option indoors.
Buying verdict
This six-camera set suits shoppers looking to cover both indoor and outdoor areas with one 2K camera system. The practical difference is its combination of five battery-powered Outdoor 2K+ cameras and a plug-in Mini 2K+, backed by included mounting hardware and a Sync Module Core. Choose it when that flexible mix of camera placement, 2K video, and up to 4x zoom fits the way you want to monitor your home.
