Blink Outdoor 2K+ and Mini 2K+ Security Camera Set with Sync Module Core

Some homes need a wire-free camera outdoors, while others need steady plug-in coverage indoors. This Blink set combines both approaches in one two-camera system. Each camera captures 2K video, with up to 4x zoom for a closer view of recorded footage. The included Sync Module Core brings the setup together.

Best use cases

Place the Outdoor 2K+ where a wire-free camera suits the location, then use the Mini 2K+ indoors near an outlet. That pairing makes it practical to monitor different areas of the home without relying on the same power setup for both cameras. The Outdoor 2K+ mounts without a power wire, while the Mini 2K+ plugs in for constant power.

Both cameras offer 2K resolution, helping capture more detail than a lower-resolution view, and up to 4x zoom lets you get a closer look. For changing light, the cameras provide color night vision in low light and automatically switch to black-and-white vision in near darkness. Together, these features support everyday monitoring across indoor and outdoor spaces.

Pros

The two-camera combination is the main advantage: choose a wire-free placement outdoors and a plug-in position indoors. Outdoor 2K+ runs on two AA Energizer lithium batteries, with up to two years of battery life. Mini 2K+ uses a power cord, so it stays powered while connected to an outlet.

The Sync Module Core is included, along with the mounting kit and the cables and power cord listed for the setup. Installation is designed to be straightforward: mount the Outdoor camera and plug in the Mini camera for indoor coverage. An optional Blink plan, sold separately, enables smart detection features such as person and vehicle detection.

Worth noting

This set is built around two different placement needs, not two identical cameras: Outdoor 2K+ is wire-free and battery-powered, while Mini 2K+ is plug-in. That makes it useful when an outdoor mounting point and an indoor outlet call for different installation styles. The power arrangement also helps guide placement: use the Outdoor camera where a power cord would be inconvenient, and position the Mini near an outlet.

The package includes one Outdoor 2K+ camera, one Mini 2K+ camera, one Sync Module Core, two AA Energizer lithium batteries for the Outdoor camera, a mounting kit, a USB-C cable for the Sync Module, and a power cord for the Sync Module and Mini 2K+ camera. Smart person and vehicle detection requires an optional Blink plan, sold separately.

When it makes sense

Choose this set when you want indoor and outdoor coverage in one purchase and value having a choice of power style for each camera. It suits a setup where the outdoor camera needs wire-free mounting and the indoor camera can sit near an outlet, with 2K video and zoom available on both. Color vision in low light and automatic black-and-white vision in near darkness add useful visibility as lighting changes. The result is a flexible two-camera starting point for monitoring different areas of a home.
