Black and Gold Vinyl Wall Decals

A plain wall can make a room feel unfinished, but a large mural may be more commitment than you want. These black-and-gold floral wall decals offer a peel-and-stick way to add flowers, leaves, and butterflies to a smooth surface, with a design that can be arranged to suit your space.

The set comes on two sheets, each measuring 30cm x 90cm (11.8" × 35.4"). The recommended finished size is 59cm x 121cm (23.2" x 47.6"), though the layout can be adjusted. That flexibility is useful if you want to place the design above a sofa, behind a TV, or as a focal point in a bedroom without covering an entire wall.

What to know

The decals are made from vinyl, with the listing describing the material and adhesive as waterproof, non-toxic, and odor-free. They are intended to be easy to apply and remove. The black-and-gold floral pattern combines flowers, leaves, and butterflies, so it brings more visual detail than a simple single-color wall sticker. Keep in mind that the stated application surfaces need to be clean, dry, smooth, and non-textured, a rough or uneven wall is outside the recommended use.

There is no single required finished arrangement. You can follow the suggested dimensions or spread the elements differently to fit the available wall area. From the way it is set up, this is closer to a decorative accent than a full-room makeover: it can create a noticeable focal area, but the listed finished size is not intended to cover a whole wall.

Best use cases

This set is aimed at indoor decor in living rooms, bedrooms, dorm rooms, and areas such as the wall behind a sofa or TV. It can also be applied to other clean, dry, non-textured smooth surfaces listed by the seller, including windows, tiles, furniture, mirrors, and refrigerators. That gives you more placement choices than a wall-only mural, provided the surface meets those conditions.

A solid pick if you want a floral accent without hanging framed art or committing to a larger wall treatment. For example, you could arrange the flowers and leaves above a bedroom dresser, then position the butterflies around the main cluster to make the design feel more spread out. You may want to skip it if the intended spot has texture, dust, or an irregular finish, since those surfaces are not recommended.

Tips for day-to-day use

Plan the arrangement before peeling and sticking the pieces down. Check that the chosen area is clean and fully dry, then use the recommended finished dimensions as a guide rather than a fixed layout. This is especially helpful when placing the decals above a sofa or around a TV, where furniture and screens can limit the usable space. If you are decorating furniture, a mirror, or a refrigerator instead of a wall, make sure the surface is smooth and non-textured too.

Because the set is supplied on two sheets and the final layout is adjustable, you can decide how compact or spread out the floral cluster should look. The listing says the decals are removable, but it does not specify how they behave on every surface or finish, so choose the placement with care if you are concerned about the surface underneath.

Practical doubts

How large is the suggested finished design?

The recommended finished size is 59cm x 121cm (23.2" x 47.6"). The arrangement can be adjusted to your preference.

What surfaces are suitable?

The listed options include walls, windows, tiles, furniture, mirrors, and refrigerators, as long as the surface is clean, dry, smooth, and non-textured.

Are the decals removable?

The product description says they are easy to remove. It does not give surface-specific removal guidance, so results may depend on where they are applied.

Final verdict

These decals make sense if you want a black-and-gold floral focal point in a defined area and have a smooth surface ready for application. The two-sheet format and adjustable layout give you room to position the design around furniture or a TV rather than treating the suggested dimensions as a rigid mural. The main tradeoff is placement: textured or uneven surfaces are not recommended, and the stated finished size is better suited to an accent than to broad wall coverage. Choose them for a decorative patch of wall or another eligible surface, look for a different approach if you need full-wall coverage or have a textured finish.
