What it works with
Designed with Nintendo Switch 2 charging in mind, the cable lets you connect the console to a compatible USB-C power source while keeping more distance between your play area and the outlet. That extra reach can be useful when a standard short cable would keep you close to the power source. For a play session at a desk or on the couch, connect the cable and continue using the console as it charges.
It also supports charging for compatible USB-C devices, including iPhone 15, 16, and 17 models, Samsung Galaxy S20 through S25 models, Google Pixel phones, iPads, MacBook models, and Apple AirPods Pro 2nd generation. Device charging depends on the connected device and power source. As a USB 2.0 cable, it also supports data transfer up to 480Mbps, making it useful beyond console charging.
Getting the most from it
Pair the cable with a USB-C power source suited to your device. Its 60W power rating gives it room to serve compatible phones, tablets, and other USB-C electronics as well as the Switch 2. For gaming, the 6.6ft length helps place the console where you want it without needing to stay right beside the power source. When you need a cable for several compatible devices, USB-C to USB-C connectivity makes it a practical option to keep within reach.
The braided exterior and reinforced cable ends are intended to handle frequent bending and plugging in. Belkin reports internal testing of more than 350,000 bends and 20,000 plug-ins, those figures describe test results, not a guaranteed lifespan. The recycled materials in the braid and cable components add another considered detail, while USB-IF certification confirms the cable meets the organization’s electrical, mechanical, and environmental standards.
Is it worth it?
It’s a great fit if you want one longer USB-C cable for Nintendo Switch 2 charging and everyday use with other compatible devices. Compared with a short cable intended only for charging at a nearby outlet, the 6.6ft length gives you more flexibility in where you sit or set up, while 60W charging and a durable braided design make it useful across a broader range of devices. Choose it for charging during play, keeping a USB-C cable at your desk, or sharing a cable between compatible electronics.
