Bedsure Cat House Bed 16.5 x 16.5 x 13 in

An enclosed sleeping nook paired with an upper lounging platform gives this Bedsure cat house bed two distinct places to settle. Cats can tuck away in the lower compartment or stretch out above, while a sisal scratch pad and hanging plush ball add something to do between naps. The cube measures 16.5 x 16.5 x 13 inches at the bottom, so it’s designed to create a cozy indoor spot rather than take over a room. Its fold-flat design also makes storage easier when the bed isn’t in use.

Where it shines

The split-level layout is the main reason to consider this bed: one cat can nap out of sight in the enclosed den while another uses the top as a lookout or open nap pad. Picture placing it near a window or in a quiet corner, a cat that wants privacy has a covered space below, while one that prefers to watch the room can lounge on top. It’s presented for cats, small dogs, and rabbits, and the product description says cats under 20 lbs can jump and play on it. That makes it more flexible than a basic single cushion, though the lower compartment’s stated dimensions are the clearest guide to whether your pet will have room to turn and settle comfortably.

The structure uses lightweight MDF boards with soft lambswool fabric, plus a sisal scratching board and plush hanging ball. If you prioritize a hideaway and a separate perch in one footprint, this format covers both needs, if you prefer a wide, open bed with no enclosed sides, a simple cushion may suit your setup better. Worth considering if your cat likes having a choice between hiding and keeping an eye on the room.

What to know

The cube is foldable and described as quick to assemble, so it can be put away between uses or taken along when storage or travel calls for it. That portability is useful in a smaller room, but it also means this isn’t a fixed cat tree with multiple climbing levels. The upper platform’s dimensions aren’t provided, so there’s no exact measurement for how much space it offers compared with the lower den. The listing calls the MDF pet-friendly and CARB-certified, that detail may matter to buyers comparing materials, but it doesn’t replace checking the fit and stability in your own space. On the spec sheet, the layout is aimed at lounging, scratching, and play—not strenuous climbing.

Cleaning & care

The removable cushions have reversible covers that are machine washable, a practical feature for a nap spot that may collect fur or everyday dirt. The listing doesn’t specify washing instructions such as cycle or drying method, so follow the care label on the covers. The cube itself folds flat, but no cleaning method for its fabric-covered structure is given. It’s not for you if you need a fully washable bed or want detailed cleaning instructions for every component before buying.

Is it worth it?

This cat cave makes most sense when you want an indoor bed that gives a pet both a tucked-away den and an elevated resting surface, with scratching and a dangling toy built into the same unit. Its washable, reversible cushion covers and fold-flat format add everyday convenience. The tradeoff is that the lower sleeping area is defined by a 16.5 x 16.5 x 13-inch compartment, and the top platform has no listed dimensions, households choosing a bed for a larger pet or looking for a roomy open surface may be better served by a less enclosed design. Choose it for a compact hideout-and-lounger setup, not as a substitute for a larger climbing structure or an open, full-size bed.
