Bamda LED Dog Collar, 300mAh

Quick overview

For dog owners who walk after dark, this Bamda light-up collar adds an active glow along with reflective trim that remains visible when the light is off. The green collar has three settings—constant glow, quick flash, and slow flash—so you can choose a steady outline or a flashing signal for evening walks.

It’s rechargeable, adjustable, and has a metal D-ring for attaching a leash. The listing states up to 18 hours of light per charge, with a five-LED indicator to check the remaining battery at a glance.

Fit and sizing

The collar is offered in four adjustable sizes, from XS to L, for necks measuring 10 to 23.2 inches. That range is useful for narrowing down a fit, but the listing doesn’t break out the neck measurement for each size. Keep in mind that the overall range alone won’t tell you which size is right for your dog, measure the neck and compare it with the size options before choosing.

Its nylon construction is described as bite-resistant, and the metal D-ring lets you clip on a leash. If you need a collar with a more detailed size chart or a specific fit measurement for a large dog, that missing breakdown may make the choice less certain.

Tips for day-to-day use

For a quick evening outing, select constant glow before leaving, then check the battery indicator rather than guessing how much charge is left. The two flashing modes offer another way to make the collar stand out. Its reflective trim is a useful extra when the light is switched off, though it doesn’t remove the need to keep an eye on your dog around traffic or in low visibility.

The collar is rated IPX7 and described as suitable for heavy rain, muddy puddles, and swimming. After an outing, the listing says it can be rinsed clean. Charging is via USB-C, a full recharge is listed as taking two hours, using a 5V adapter only. The stated runtime is up to 18 hours, so actual charging needs will depend on how often and which light mode you use.

Before you decide

Can the collar be used in the rain or for swimming? It carries an IPX7 waterproof rating and is described as suitable for rain, puddles, and swimming.

How does it recharge? It uses USB-C and is listed as fully recharging in two hours with a 5V adapter.

Can you check the remaining battery? Yes. A five-LED gauge indicates the remaining power, more lights lit means more charge left.

Is it worth it?

It makes sense if you want a collar that combines light, reflective trim, and a leash attachment in one piece, especially for regular night walks. Compared with a basic reflective-only collar, the active glow and selectable flash patterns give you more visibility options, but they also make charging part of the routine. The listed 800-foot visibility is a manufacturer claim, not a guarantee of how visible your dog will be in every setting.

Not the best choice if you want a collar that never needs charging, or if you need size-by-size neck measurements before buying. For owners comfortable checking fit and keeping the battery topped up, the combination of three light modes, a battery gauge, and an IPX7 rating makes this a practical option to consider for walks and outdoor outings.
