BALANCE PSM04-PB-L Dog Crate Pad, Washable Water-Resistant Foam Mat, 36 x 23 in

For dog owners looking for a soft, washable surface for a crate or kennel, the BALANCE PSM04-PB-L combines a faux-wool cover with foam fill. Its water-resistant top helps protect the foam from spills, while the nonslip bottom helps keep the pad in place as a dog settles in or moves around.

Use it as a crate mat, kennel bed, or flat resting spot indoors or outdoors. The rectangular 36 x 23-inch footprint makes it easy to compare with the floor space where you plan to use it.

How it fits

This flat pad is designed for crate, cage, and kennel use, and can also serve as a standalone dog bed or mat. Compare its 36 x 23-inch footprint with the available floor space so it lies where your dog rests. The nonslip base helps reduce sliding on the surface beneath it, making the mat a practical choice for a regular resting area.

Where it shines

The soft faux-wool surface and foam filling create a cushioned place for a dog to lie down, whether the pad is placed inside a crate or used as a bed around the home. Its water-resistant top fabric repels liquids to help protect the foam, a useful feature for everyday pet spaces and outdoor use. The fabric is machine washable, and fixed stitching helps keep the foam stable through care.

Buyers often praise the pad’s comfort, fit, and ease of washing. Feedback on thickness and durability is mixed, so these are useful considerations when choosing a mat for a dog’s routine. Chewing resistance also draws varied reports, this pad is best selected for its role as a washable resting surface rather than as a chew toy.

Compared with leaving a crate floor bare or using a fabric-only liner, this foam-filled mat adds a soft surface while keeping the setup flat and easy to place. It suits owners who want one pad that can move between a crate, kennel, and other resting spots.
