Product description

These heavy duty D ring shackles offer dependable recovery hardware for off road rigs and towing tasks. Built from drop forged steel, the 3/4" shackles handle a towing capacity up to 4.75 tons according to the original listing, and they include an industry standard 7/8" screw pin for secure fastening. The kit also supplies durable rubber shackle isolators that act as bumpers and cut rattling noise when mounted to a vehicle.

Key features

The pack combines strength and practical protection in everyday use. The galvanized and powder coated finish provides corrosion resistance and helps the shackles endure harsh weather. Rubber isolators cushion contact points, lowering metal-on-metal wear and reducing vibration noise on trails or highways. Use these shackles with recovery tow straps, snatch blocks, tree savers, winch lines, ATVs, UTVs, trucks and trailers for restored peace of mind during a recovery.

Tech specs

  • Name: AUTMATCH D Ring Shackle 3/4"
  • Capacity: 10,471 Pounds
  • Size: 3/4"
  • Material: Drop forged steel
  • Format: Pack of 2 with 7/8" screw pin and rubber isolators

Usage tips

Keep threads clean and hand-tighten the 7/8" screw pin until secure, then back off slightly to avoid binding. Regularly inspect the powder coat and pin threads for deep gouges or deformation, and replace the shackle if the steel shows excessive wear. It’s a great fit if you want a sturdy recovery link that also reduces noise and protects anchor points, and worth considering if corrosion resistance matters on long outdoor adventures.

Care & maintenance

Wipe down after wet or salty use and let components dry before storage to prolong the finish. Apply a light anti-seize on the screw pin threads if you frequently use the shackle in muddy or salt conditions. Note that rubber isolators will age over time with UV exposure, so check them periodically and swap if cracked or hardened.
