ATLAHET USB-C KVM Switch for 2 Monitors, 4K 60Hz, EDID, Aluminum

Technical overview

At 5.51 x 2.68 x 1.5 inches, this aluminum ATLAHET KVM switch brings a dual-monitor setup and shared peripherals together for one laptop and one desktop. Switch between the two computers while using the same HDMI monitors, keyboard, mouse, and connected storage devices. Its EDID copy function helps keep desktop windows in place when changing the active computer.

• Type: USB-C KVM switch and docking station
• Video: Two HDMI outputs, up to 4K at 60Hz
• Display modes: Copy and extend
• EDID: Copy function
• Storage access: SD and Micro SD card ports
• Material: Aluminum
• Dimensions: 5.51 x 2.68 x 1.5 inches

The switch also supports lower display resolutions, including 2K at 144Hz and 1080p. USB connections accommodate devices such as a flash drive, keyboard, and mouse, while the card slots provide a direct way to access SD and Micro SD media. For a desk where two computers need to share displays and accessories, this combines switching and docking in one compact unit rather than relying on separate devices for each task.

Practical tips

Connect the laptop through a Thunderbolt 3, 4, or 5 port. The desktop needs two HDMI ports and one USB port, and both monitors need HDMI ports. Use the included USB-C cable for the connection. The laptop input does not provide power delivery, so the switch does not charge the laptop.

MacBook and macOS systems support mirror mode, displaying different content across two monitors in extended mode is not supported. The switch supports button control, with an indicator light showing the active channel. A separate wired switch button can be placed on the desktop, making computer selection accessible even when the main unit sits under or behind a desk. Keyboard hotkey switching is not supported. Avoid HDMI-to-DisplayPort and DisplayPort-to-DVI/VGA adapters, as well as connecting another docking station to the switch.

A typical setup is a laptop and desktop connected to the same pair of HDMI monitors, with one keyboard and mouse shared between them. Select the active computer when moving from laptop work to the desktop, while the EDID copy function helps retain the desktop window arrangement after switching. Copy mode is also available when both screens should show the same content.

What’s included

The package includes the KVM switch and the USB-C cable required for its laptop connection. The product also provides a separate wired switch button for desktop placement. Connect the computers and HDMI displays according to their port requirements, then use the switch control to choose which computer is active.

Should you buy it?

This ATLAHET switch suits a desk shared by one Thunderbolt-equipped laptop and one desktop, especially when both need access to the same two HDMI monitors and peripherals. Its combination of dual-display switching, EDID copy, card access, and USB connections can simplify a workspace that would otherwise use separate switching and docking devices. It is a practical fit for switching between computers while keeping a shared monitor and accessory setup in place.
