Art3d A17at702eu01 Peel-and-Stick Subway Tile Backsplash, White, 12 x 12 Inch

A full remodel and a focused wall refresh call for different approaches. Art3d’s peel-and-stick subway tiles offer a simple format for updating a backsplash or adding definition to a decorative wall. The white tile pattern with black grout brings crisp contrast to the space. Each square sheet measures 12 x 12 inches and has a thicker build for easier handling during installation.

Usage tips

Plan the layout before removing the backing so you can position the sheets consistently across the wall. The adhesive is designed to grip smooth, clean surfaces and lightly textured walls, preparing the surface accordingly helps give each sheet a suitable place to adhere. The peel-and-stick installation is useful for a targeted kitchen update, a kitchen island wall, or another decorative wall application without applying tile mortar.

Each sheet is 0.1 inches thick and made from polyvinyl chloride. The sheets are waterproof and have a glossy finish, making them suitable for kitchen and bathroom wall decor. For edges or areas that need a more precise fit, buyers often mention that the tiles are easy to cut with a utility knife or scissors. Work carefully around outlets and corners, and plan those cuts as part of the layout.

Benefits

The white subway-tile look and contrasting black grout create a defined, classic pattern without relying on a plain, uninterrupted surface. That visual contrast can help a backsplash stand out behind a counter or add a finished look to a kitchen island wall. The glossy finish also gives the white surface a bright appearance.

The upgraded sheets are described as two to three times thicker than regular peel-and-stick tiles and resistant to tearing and bending. That sturdier feel can make the material easier to position and handle as you work across a wall. Buyers frequently praise the tile-like appearance and straightforward application. Feedback on adhesion and durability is mixed, so surface preparation matters when applying the sheets.

What matters most

This pack contains 10 square sheets, each measuring 12 x 12 inches. Their square format offers a consistent unit for planning a backsplash or decorative feature, while the peel-and-stick backing makes installation a direct surface application. The stated coverage is 9 square feet, which is useful when estimating the area for a project.

For a wall refresh, the key choice is whether you want a defined subway pattern and a self-adhesive installation, or a different material and installation approach for a broader renovation. Art3d combines the familiar white subway style with black grout, a glossy surface, and a thicker PVC sheet. Buyers also describe the tiles as easy to work with, though reports about how well they stay adhered vary. A clean surface and careful placement are practical steps before committing each sheet.

When it makes sense

These tiles suit focused projects where a bold, orderly backsplash pattern can change the feel of a kitchen without turning the whole room into a renovation. They can also be used on a kitchen island wall or for other decorative wall applications, and the waterproof material makes them suitable for bathroom wall decor. For example, a homeowner updating a kitchen can use the square sheets to create a continuous-looking backsplash area, with the white tiles and black grout providing visual definition.

Worth considering if you want a glossy, white subway-tile look, a contrasting grout effect, and a peel-and-stick format for a contained wall project. The combination of square sheets, thicker construction, and self-adhesive backing is geared toward a practical surface update where appearance and straightforward placement are central to the plan.
