AOFITEE 1207-AF-12180-Red-S Dog Coat, Fleece-Lined and Water-Resistant

Choosing a dog coat often comes down to whether you want warmth alone or a layer that also works with a leash. The AOFITEE 1207-AF-12180-Red-S combines a fleece lining, water-resistant outer fabric, and two leash-attachment D-rings in a red, Small-sized coat for chilly outdoor outings.

Its sleeveless shape and elastic chest are designed to make dressing straightforward while allowing your dog to move. The back zipper has a protective guard, and the adjustable neckline includes reflective detailing for added visibility on walks.

Highlights

The fleece lining adds a cozy layer for fall, spring, and winter, while the water-resistant polyester exterior helps keep your dog dry in damp conditions. A faux-fur turtle neck with an adjustable elastic cord offers extra coverage around the neck and head. The reflective neckline detail is useful when a walk takes you into lower-light conditions.

For leash walks, the two metal D-rings on the back provide attachment points directly on the coat. That gives you a practical alternative to layering a separate harness over outerwear. The back zipper makes the coat easier to put on and remove, and its protective guard helps keep fur and skin clear of the closure. What matters most for a comfortable fit? Start with your dog’s measurements rather than relying only on breed: measure around the widest part of the chest and from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. If your dog falls between sizes, the product guidance recommends choosing the larger size.

The coat is made from fleece and polyester, with faux-fur trim, and is machine washable. Buyers often praise its warmth, stomach coverage, and easy on-and-off design. Feedback on fit and zipper performance is mixed, so taking chest and back-length measurements is a useful step before choosing a size.

How to take care of it

Machine wash the coat according to its care instructions. Before dressing your dog, position the coat so the zipper lies along the back, then close it with the protective guard in place. Adjust the elastic neckline for a secure, comfortable fit, and attach the leash to the D-rings when heading out. A quick fit check helps ensure the coat sits comfortably and does not restrict movement.

Best use cases

This red Small coat is suited to outdoor walks and activities such as running, hiking, and camping in cool weather. Its fleece lining provides warmth, while the water-resistant fabric is useful when conditions are damp. The leash rings make it convenient for everyday walks without requiring the leash to attach to a separate harness worn over the coat. Reflective detailing at the neckline also adds a visible feature for evening strolls.

Before you decide

How should I choose the size? Measure your dog’s chest at the widest part of the rib cage and the back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Use those measurements to select a size, choose the larger one if your dog is between sizes.

Can I attach a leash to the coat? Yes. Two metal D-rings on the back are designed for leash attachment.

How do I clean it? The coat is machine washable, making routine care simple after outdoor use.

Should you buy it?

A solid pick if you want a warm, water-resistant layer with leash attachment built into the coat. The fleece lining, adjustable neckline, reflective detail, and back zipper make it a practical choice for dog owners preparing for chilly walks and other outdoor activities.
