Anowbo C0109 Cat Deterrent Spray, 150 mL, Indoor & Outdoor Use

A fresh botanical scent and bitter taste cue help guide cats away from areas you want to protect. Anowbo C0109 is made for indoor and outdoor use, so you can address scratching on furniture or establish boundaries around patios and garden areas. Use it as part of a consistent routine, alongside an appropriate scratching post and rewards for good behavior.

Technical overview

This 150 mL cat deterrent spray is designed to discourage scratching, chewing, and marking in common problem areas. Its scent helps create a boundary around treated spots, while the bitter taste cue offers an additional reminder for cats that nibble or explore with their mouths. The formula includes orange peel extract, citronella oil, and lemongrass extract.

Apply the spray to target surfaces such as sofa corners, rugs, curtains, furniture legs, plants, or decorations. Outdoors, it can be used around patios, garden areas, and entry points. The water-based formula is designed to dry clear and not stain, for delicate or porous surfaces, including untreated leather or light-colored fabric, test a small hidden area first. Do not spray directly on your cat.

Practical tips

Consistency helps make the treated areas easier for your cat to recognize as off-limits. During early training, reapply once daily or as needed, following the product directions. When your cat uses an appropriate area, reward the behavior with praise. A scratching post gives your cat a designated alternative, and regular nail trimming can support the broader training routine.

For an indoor furniture concern, focus application on the specific corners or fabric areas your cat repeatedly targets. If you’re setting boundaries outdoors, apply it around the relevant patio or garden spots instead. Outdoor conditions such as rain or strong sun can reduce how long the spray remains effective, so reapplication may be needed more often in those areas.

Who it’s for

This spray suits cat owners who want a targeted training aid for furniture, rugs, curtains, plants, or other household areas affected by scratching, chewing, or marking. It can also serve households looking to guide cats away from selected outdoor spaces. The botanical scent and taste cue offer two signals, while the suggested use of rewards and a scratching post helps pair the boundary with a positive alternative.

It’s a great fit if you want to address specific trouble spots rather than rely only on redirecting your cat after a behavior starts. Use the spray on the areas you want to protect, and give your cat a suitable place to scratch as part of the same routine.
