Best use cases
The 64 g magnesium-aluminum alloy design is made for quick, controlled mouse movements in fast-paced games. It suits FPS, RPG, MMO, MOBA, and battle royale play, while the optical tracking and five-button layout also work well for everyday computer use, programming, and general navigation. Its right-handed shape gives the controls a clear, familiar arrangement for right-hand use.
The three connection modes make the M259 useful across different setups. Use 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth for a wireless desk, or choose a wired USB-C connection when you prefer a cable. The listed compatible devices include PCs, laptops, and iPad. Compared with choosing a mouse built around just one connection style, the M259 lets you select the option that suits your setup and switch between modes on the mouse.
Getting the most from it
Use the connection switch on the underside to select 2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, or wired operation. The rechargeable battery supports up to 200 hours of use, making the mouse suitable for extended sessions between charges. RGB backlighting complements the red shell, while the lightweight construction keeps the focus on a nimble feel during play.
The all-in-one driver provides options for adjusting DPI and polling rate, configuring custom buttons and key mappings, and recording macros. It also offers a competition mode. These settings let you tailor the mouse controls to different games or tasks. The listed operating systems are Linux, Mac OS, and Windows 7.
