REDTRON Child Safety Cabinet Locks 4 pack 🧷

This set of child safety cabinet locks from REDTRON helps keep curious toddlers and pets away from cabinets and drawers that may contain hazards. Easy to fit without drilling, these white locks use 3M adhesive for a firm hold and a dual-action release that makes it harder for little hands to open cabinets while remaining user-friendly for adults.

Key Points

The locks attach with strong 3M adhesive so no tools are required during installation, keeping surfaces intact. Rounded edges reduce the chance of little fingers catching or being scratched when they come into contact with the lock. The dual-switch opening mechanism requires two sequential actions to release, which adds an extra layer of security for households with active children or inquisitive pets. According to the manufacturer, the pack includes four locks in a neutral white finish suitable for kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms and more.

Usage Recommendations

Attach the lock to clean, dry surfaces and follow the step-by-step instructions included to ensure the adhesive bonds correctly. Allow time for the adhesive to set before subjecting the lock to repeated opening and closing. For best results, avoid installing on heavily textured or uneven surfaces where the adhesive may not adhere as firmly. These locks are suitable for cabinets, drawers and appliance doors such as fridges, and they can also be used on bathroom cupboards and toilet seats.

Positive Aspects

The main advantage is the combination of a no-drill installation and a double-lock mechanism, which offers a balance between safety and convenience. The materials used are flexible enough to withstand regular use while being simple to clean. The neutral white colour blends discreetly with most furniture and fittings. Do note that adhesive-mounted solutions may not be as permanent as screwed fittings and could require replacement of pads over time, especially in high-humidity environments.
