OUILA Under Cabinet Kitchen Lights 20.5cm, 3000K

This slim rechargeable LED bar brings soft, warm light to cupboards and under-cabinet areas and is aimed at making night-time tasks easier with hands-free activation. The OUILA under cabinet light offers motion sensing, adjustable brightness and a USB-C rechargeable 1000mAh battery, useful for kitchens, wardrobes and hallways where discreet, energy-conscious illumination is required.

Key Points

The light bar measures 20.5 cm and contains 32 LEDs that deliver a warm 3000K colour temperature, according to the manufacturer. Motion detection activates the lamp within about 10 feet and it switches off automatically after around 20 seconds without movement to conserve charge. Installation is flexible thanks to built-in magnets for metal surfaces or the included double-sided tape for other materials. The aluminium housing is just 9 mm thick, which helps it sit flush under cabinets or on shelves. 🔋

Advantages

Brightness is continuously adjustable with a long press so you can choose a gentle ambient glow or a brighter beam for food preparation. The lamp includes a memory function that recalls the last brightness setting used, which saves time when you switch it on repeatedly. Its slim aluminium body is described as both portable and aesthetically neat, which helps keep visible fittings to a minimum. The automatic mode helps extend battery life, allowing up to two months of intermittent use in sensor mode according to the manufacturer, although actual runtime depends on selected brightness.

Usage Recommendations

Place the bar under a kitchen cabinet above a work surface, inside a wardrobe to light clothing, or along stair risers for safer night-time movement. For metal cabinets simply attach with the magnets, or use the double-sided tape on painted or wooden surfaces. Consider using lower brightness for extended battery life and higher brightness for task lighting. Note that performance figures such as run time and detection range are manufacturer indications and may vary with installation and use. 😊
