BOLD & DIVINE Hummingbird Printed Large Adult Cremation Urn (200 cu in) with Velvet Bag
Product description
What this is and who it’s for
The BOLD & DIVINE Hummingbird Printed Large Adult Cremation Urn is a sturdy aluminium keepsake designed to hold up to 200 cubic inches of ashes. It comes with a soft velvet bag and a felted bottom to protect surfaces. If you’re seeking a memorial that doubles as a thoughtful keepsake and a piece of art, this urn aims to offer a serene, decorative option for home or shared memorial spaces.
Design and materials
On the paper, the urn aims to balance solemnity with beauty. The construction uses smooth aluminium for durability, and the design features multicolour hummingbird imagery intended to evoke a sense of life and movement. The addition of a velvet bag helps safeguard furniture and makes handling gentler. It’s not a purely minimal container, it’s meant to function as a visible tribute in a living space.
Technical details at a glance
This is a large adult urn with a stated capacity of 200 cubic inches. The body is aluminium, a material chosen for durability and relatively lightweight handling. Included accessories are a velvet bag and a protective felted base.
Practical use and care
If you prioritise a memorial that can sit on a mantel, table or niche, this urn provides a stable, decorative focal point. Consider that the multicolour artwork is a personal touch, it may feel more suitable for some tastes than for others. The velvet bag protects surfaces and reduces chance of scratches when moving the urn.
What stands out and what may give you pause
What stands out is the combination of a sizeable capacity with a painted, artful finish and a protective accessories bundle. What may give pause: if you prefer a plainer or more traditional finish, the hummingbird motif and coloured design may not align with every preference. The description notes handmade crafting, while this suggests care, it also means finishes may vary slightly between units.
Who it’s for and who it isn’t ideal for
It suits someone looking for a visually expressive memorial that remains suitable for display in a home or at a memorial site. It may be less ideal for those who want a strictly understated, monochrome piece or a design focused purely on traditional aesthetics.
When a purchase makes sense
If you want a durable, visually meaningful urn with a generous capacity for adult ashes, and you value a velvet-lined presentation and a decorative touch, this could be a sensible choice. It’s worth considering if you’re aiming to create a personal, home-centred tribute rather than a purely utilitarian container.
Before you buy: what to check
- Confirm the 200 cubic inches capacity aligns with your expectations for adult ashes.
- Consider whether the multicolour hummingbird motif matches the intended recipient’s memory space and taste.
- Check that the item includes the velvet bag and felted base as described, and plan where you’ll display it.
- Acknowledge that finishes described as handcrafted can show slight variation from unit to unit.
Practical comparison and alternatives
If you’re weighing options, you’ll find choices range from plainer metal containers to artistically painted keepsakes. This urn sits between traditional metal containers and more ornate memorial art pieces. If a subtler, uniform appearance is your priority, a simpler design might be preferable, if you want a memorial that stands out as a keepsake, this approach could be more appealing.
Is it worth it?
Is it worth it? The answer depends on how much you value durability, display appeal and a sizeable capacity in a single piece. If the hummingbird motif resonates and you want a robust aluminium urn with a velvet bag, it’s reasonable to consider. If you require a more understated finish or a different capacity, you may want to explore alternatives.
