EasySMX X05 Wireless PC controller with Hall triggers
Product description
This wireless gamepad from EasySMX offers multi-platform play with three connection modes and Hall effect sensors for precise control, suitable for PC, Switch and mobile gaming. Its RGB lighting and dual vibration aim to enhance immersion while the rechargeable battery supports long sessions, according to the manufacturer.
Key Points
The controller connects via Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz dongle or USB cable, making it flexible for different devices and setups. It includes a one-key mode switch to toggle between PC and Nintendo Switch configurations, and the RGB lighting has seven selectable colours that can be turned off if preferred. The manufacturer states the built-in battery lasts over 25 hours on a single charge, and a ceramic charging cable is supplied for a stable connection and lower interference. For users concerned about joystick drift, the X05 uses Hall effect sensors and Hall triggers to reduce dead zones and prolong component life.

Advantages
Responsive input is the main advantage thanks to Hall effect sensors that are less prone to wear than traditional potentiometers, which means steadier aiming and smoother analog control in racing or action titles. The triple connection options reduce compatibility friction; switching from a PC to a handheld like the Switch is handled with a single button, which saves time when moving between devices. Dual motors deliver stronger tactile feedback during gameplay and the turbo button can automate repeated presses for arcade-style actions.
Usage Recommendations
For PC play, use the 2.4 GHz dongle to minimise latency, particularly in fast-paced multiplayer titles. When pairing with mobile devices, Bluetooth offers convenient wireless play while wired mode is available for charging or when battery conservation is needed. Consider turning off the RGB lights to extend battery life during long sessions. Note that the controller is not compatible with Xbox consoles, Luna or Nvidia GeForce Now according to the product notes.
