AMGEKE 4K Dash Cam Front and Rear

The essentials

This dash cam from AMGEKE records in 4K at the front and 1080p at the rear, delivering clear detail of the road ahead and behind your vehicle. With a wide 170° viewing angle, an F1.6 aperture, and a STARVIS sensor, it performs well in daylight and low light, helping to capture important details such as licence plates and signs. Built to be compatible with sedans, SUVs and pickups, it aims to be a reliable companion for everyday driving and longer journeys alike. The integrated WiFi and GPS mean you can view footage on a smartphone, download clips and have GPS data embedded in each video for speed and route tracking. In busy urban environments or on country roads, this camera’s performance in varying light conditions is designed to maintain usable footage you can trust when it matters.

Technical details

The AMGEKE system combines a 4K front camera with 1080p rear recording, and the 170° field of view helps eliminate blind spots. The camera uses a 6‑layer all-glass lens and a STARVIS sensor to gather more light at night, while digital processing and WDR balance bright headlights with darker areas so footage remains readable after dusk. A 64GB microSD card is included, enabling immediate use out of the box, and seamless loop recording safeguards ongoing footage by overwriting the oldest unlocked clips when storage fills up. The built‑in GPS records speed, time and route, embedded into each video to support insurance claims or incident reviews. The unit relies on a dedicated super capacitor rather than a lithium battery, improving reliability in high temperatures and extended parking periods. A parking mode option is available with a compatible hardwire kit, providing either motion‑activated recording or time‑lapse capture to help protect the vehicle when parked. This product ships with AMGEKE’s power cables and accessories and includes a 12‑month limited warranty along with customer support.

What to know

There are practical considerations for day‑to‑day use. The front camera delivers 4K resolution for crisp footage, while the rear camera provides dependable 1080p capture, helpful when confirming events from behind. The GPS data embedded in videos can be a valuable reference for verifying time and location of incidents. Note that to use parking mode effectively you may need the optional hardwire kit and a continuous power connection. The unit’s super capacitor design reduces the risk of battery swelling in hot climates and helps ensure reliable operation during long parking sessions. Overall, this dash cam offers a balanced feature set for drivers who want clear front and rear recording, convenient mobile access and practical parking protection, backed by a UK‑based warranty.
