Vicloon Swing Rope, 120 cm, Blue, with Heavy-Duty Hook up to 200 kg

Best use cases

For hanging a hammock between suitable supports or setting up a garden swing, the Vicloon Swing Rope brings a woven polyester rope and a locking metal hook together in one fixing set. Its 120 cm length gives you a ready-made attachment for outdoor use, from a hammock or hanging chair to a tyre, disc or net swing.

It is also designed with portability in mind: the rope is lightweight, flexible and quick drying, making it practical to pack for camping or store between uses. If you need a simple rope-and-hook attachment, this set keeps those parts together, if your priority is a permanent swing installation, a fixed mounting approach may suit that job better.

To fit it, throw the rope over a tree or beam, open the safety lock, pass the swing attachment through the metal buckle and lock it once the rope is taut. No other hardware is needed for this setup.

Benefits

The woven polyester rope is flexible and easy to store, while its quick-drying construction is suited to outdoor settings. Stainless steel hardware provides the connection point, and soft plastic pads at the ends add protection where the rope finishes. The rope and hook have separate stated capacities: the rope is rated up to 500 kg and the hook up to 200 kg, so the hook’s rating is the relevant figure when considering the set’s stated load limit.

That combination suits buyers who want one attachment for different outdoor setups rather than sourcing a rope and hook separately. It can be used with hammocks, hanging chairs and several swing styles, including garden, patio, rotating, tyre, disc and net swings. Buyers also highlight the straps’ strength and practical function, including use with rope swings. Feedback on value for money is mixed, so the main reason to choose this set is its portable rope-and-hook format and range of listed uses.

For a camping trip, for instance, the flexible rope can be packed away between outings and used to hang a hammock from a suitable tree or beam. At home, the same type of attachment can serve a garden swing setup, following the fitting steps above.

Before you decide

What is the rope and hook made from? The rope is woven polyester and the hook is stainless steel. Soft plastic pads are fitted at the rope’s ends.

What load capacity is stated? The rope is rated up to 500 kg and the metal hook up to 200 kg. The hook’s 200 kg rating is the lower of the two stated capacities.

How do you attach it? Throw the rope over a tree or beam, open the safety lock, pass the swing attachment through the metal buckle, then lock it once the rope is taut.

Is it worth it?

For anyone looking for a portable fixing rope for outdoor hammocks or swings, the Vicloon combines a 120 cm woven rope, stainless steel locking hook and soft end pads in one set. Its broad range of listed swing and hammock uses makes it a practical fit for camping as well as garden setups.
