Tech summary
- Size: 220 x 135 x 170 cm
- Material: 210D Oxford fabric
- Protection: Waterproof, windproof, dustproof and anti-UV
- Fastening: Zip, four buckles and drawstring
- Care: Wipe with a damp cloth and dry in the sun
- What’s included: Cover and carry bag
The fabric’s inner PU coating is described as blocking 99% of UV rays, and taped seams support its waterproof construction. This combination helps keep a swing seat covered through changing outdoor conditions, rather than relying on a lightweight dust cover. The rectangular shape is intended for three-seater garden swings and can also be used to protect outdoor seats and sofas.
Compatibility
The cover is sized for a garden swing measuring 220 x 135 x 170 cm and is described as suitable for most standard garden benches. Compare those dimensions with your swing before fitting, paying attention to its height and overall width as well as the seat. Buyers have mixed views on fit: some find it a good match, while others say it is oversized for their swing. Their feedback also varies on the overall build, some report problems with the zip or fastening straps, while others describe the cover positively.
Usage tips
Drape the cover over the swing, close the zip, then secure the buckles and drawstring to help hold it in place. The fastenings are particularly useful when the cover is exposed to wind. When you want to use the swing, the zip allows access without having to remove the cover in one piece. For routine care, wipe it with a damp cloth and let it dry in the sun before folding it away in the carry bag.
A practical example is covering the swing after an afternoon outdoors so the seat is protected from rain, dust and sun while it is idle. The cover is also described as protecting against snow, making it useful for keeping outdoor seating covered between uses. Buyers’ feedback on ease of fitting is mixed, so allowing room to position and secure the cover can make the process more straightforward.
