Kipiea 142 x 142 x 71cm Garden Furniture Cover, 420D Oxford Fabric

Outdoor table-and-chair sets need a cover that fits their footprint and stays in place when the weather turns. The Kipiea cover measures 142 x 142 x 71cm, with a square shape for garden furniture. Its 420D Oxford fabric has a double-layer PU waterproof coating and taped seams. Adjustable drawstrings and windproof buckles help secure it around the furniture.

What matters most

The cover is made from heavy-duty 420D Oxford fabric with a double-layer PU coating, described as waterproof, tear-resistant and anti-UV. Waterproof tape at the seams adds protection at the joins, while the black finish gives the cover a simple, unobtrusive look in the garden. Together, these details make it a practical way to shield outdoor furniture when it is not in use.

Its fastening arrangement includes two adjustable drawstring lock buckles and four windproof buckles. These give you several points to secure the cover, rather than relying on the fabric simply resting over the furniture. If you are choosing between a basic drape and a cover with dedicated fastenings, this design offers a more secure way to keep the cover in position.

Buyers speak positively about the material, water resistance and durability, and some say it gives their furniture good coverage. These are personal impressions, but they reflect the qualities the fabric and fastening design are intended to provide.

Fit and sizing

At 142 x 142 x 71cm, the cover is intended for a square garden table and chair arrangement that fits within those dimensions. Measure the furniture as it will sit under the cover, including chairs if they are tucked around the table. This helps you judge whether the square footprint and height suit your set-up, and whether the cover can fall around the furniture as intended.

The listed colour is black. The cover weighs 1.03kg, and a storage bag is included for keeping it together when it is off the furniture. Use the dimensions as your main fit guide, particularly if the chairs are positioned around the table rather than stored separately.

Getting the most from it

Drape the cover over the furniture and use the two adjustable drawstring lock buckles and four windproof buckles to secure it. The multiple fastenings are useful when the set is left outdoors between uses, helping keep the cover in place while it shields the furniture from rain and UV exposure. For example, covering a square patio table with its chairs after an outdoor meal keeps the set protected until it is needed again.

When you remove the cover, the supplied storage bag provides a place to keep it together. Its square format and stated dimensions make it straightforward to compare with the footprint of your existing garden furniture before choosing where it will be used.

Final verdict

For anyone looking to cover a square outdoor table-and-chair set, the Kipiea combines a defined 142 x 142 x 71cm size with coated 420D Oxford fabric and several securing points. It is a useful choice for keeping garden furniture covered between occasions, with a storage bag included for tidier storage when the cover is off.
