UGREEN 20471 Vertical Laptop Stand, Adjustable Aluminium, Grey

Adjustable width lets the UGREEN 20471 hold a laptop securely upright, freeing desk space for your keyboard, notes or other work essentials. Its vertical layout also suits a laptop used as a second or third screen.

The grey stand is made from aluminium alloy, with silicone and rubberised contact points to cushion the laptop and help keep it in place. A non-slip base adds stability on a desk.

Choose this vertical stand when you want to store a laptop neatly between tasks, for a setup where the laptop needs to sit open and raised, a conventional angled stand serves a different purpose.

What stands out

The holder adjusts to suit laptop thicknesses from 0.47 inches to 1 inch. Loosen the base screw by hand, set the gap and tension, then tighten it again, no tools are needed. This makes it practical for a shared workspace where laptops of different thicknesses may be stored in the same stand.

The padded groove helps protect the laptop’s finish while the non-slip base helps prevent unwanted movement. Its aluminium construction gives the stand a solid desktop presence, and the grey finish offers a clean, understated look. Buyers commonly praise its stability, adjustability and space-saving design. Feedback on its perceived size and value is mixed, so it is worth considering how it will fit into your particular desk setup.

Highlights

Designed for laptops under 15.6 inches, the stand is listed as compatible with MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, Microsoft Surface, gaming laptops, notebooks and HP series devices. The adjustable slot is useful when the laptop needs to remain upright rather than lie across the desk, and the silicone padding protects the areas that rest against the holder.

At 50 x 150 x 80 millimetres and 176 grams, it has a compact desktop footprint. Place it beside your monitor to keep a closed laptop stored vertically, or use it to position a laptop as an additional screen while leaving more of the desk clear for everyday work. The single-slot design keeps the arrangement straightforward.

Who it’s for

This stand is suited to people who want to organise a home or office desk around a laptop that is stored upright, or used alongside another screen. It is especially practical when desk space is shared with paperwork, a keyboard or other equipment. The adjustable fit and protective padding make it a useful choice for keeping a compatible laptop held in place without resting it flat on the work surface.

If you regularly switch between laptops, the hand-adjusted slot can be reset for a different thickness within its stated range. For a laptop that stays open as a primary screen, choose a stand designed to support it in that working position instead.

When it makes sense

The UGREEN 20471 makes sense when your priority is a tidier desk and a dedicated upright place for a compatible laptop. Its adjustable slot accommodates the stated thickness range, while the padded groove and non-slip base support a stable, protected fit. It is a practical desktop accessory for storing a laptop between sessions or keeping it upright as part of a multi-screen workspace.
