SUPRUS SDE-F33-Black Waterproof Dual Arc Lighter with 3-Mode Torch

For camping and other outdoor tasks, a lighter that works in windy conditions and is easy to carry can be especially useful. The SUPRUS SDE-F33-Black combines a windproof, flameless dual plasma arc with a torch, plus a waterproof O-ring seal when the cap is closed.

Its wrist strap includes an emergency whistle, keeping the lighter handy on the move. USB recharging means it uses no butane fuel.

Getting the most from it

Use the dual arc to light fires without relying on a conventional flame, making this a practical choice for camping, outdoor cooking and emergency-kit use. The windproof design is intended to keep the arc useful in breezy conditions. Close the cap to engage the O-ring seal, which helps keep out rain, snow and moisture, the stainless steel wire closure helps secure it for storage.

The torch adds a separate source of light for setting up outdoors or finding items in low light. Its three modes are bright, dim and strobe, selected by pressing the switch. At 17.1L x 1.7W x 1.5Th centimetres and 0.12 kilograms, it is sized for carrying with the supplied wrist strap and whistle.

Strengths

This lighter brings several outdoor essentials together in one compact device: a rechargeable plasma arc, a three-mode torch and a whistle on the lanyard. That can make it a useful alternative to carrying a separate lighter and torch for a camping trip or keeping basic fire-starting equipment close at hand. The black stainless steel construction gives it a practical, modern finish.

Buyers often highlight its usefulness for camping, the brightness of the torch, and the windproof and waterproof design. Feedback on battery life is mixed, so individual experiences vary. The lighter recharges through a USB connection using the included cable, without the need for butane refills.

Highlights

The SUPRUS lighter is rechargeable and flameless, with dual plasma arcs for ignition and an O-ring-sealed cap for outdoor carrying. Its flashlight has bright, dim and strobe settings, while the wrist strap makes it easier to keep close and includes an emergency whistle. The package contains the lighter, a USB charging cable, a lanyard, an instruction manual and a warranty card.

For a straightforward outing, keep it secured by the strap, use the torch to see while arranging a fire, then use the arc to light it. Keep hands clear of the arc during ignition.
