smartect Aluminium Wall and Ceiling Cable Pins, White, 2 Pieces, Ø14 x 35mm
Product description
Fit and sizing
For a pendant light whose cable needs guiding along a wall or ceiling, these white smartect pins provide a small fixing point rather than a hanging fitting. Each holder measures Ø14 x 35mm and is intended for textile cables, lamp cords or electrical wires up to Ø 8mm. Check your cable diameter against that limit before choosing them, thicker cables are outside the stated fit.
The pack contains two pins, so it can help route a cable across a short section or keep it positioned at two points. The product information does not specify how far apart to place them, so the layout will depend on the cable run and where you can securely fix each pin.
Benefits
The aluminium construction gives these holders a more substantial alternative to basic plastic cable clips, while the white finish is designed to sit discreetly with a light-coloured ceiling or wall. Their intended use includes securing lamp cables and other DIY wiring, as well as supporting pendant-light arrangements. They are cable holders, however, not a substitute for a complete lighting installation or the fittings needed to suspend a lamp safely.
Installation accessories are included: wall plugs, screws and a mini screwdriver, along with instructions. That makes the set useful when you need the small fixing parts as well as the holders. A practical example would be guiding a fabric-covered pendant cable from a ceiling outlet towards a chosen hanging position, provided the cable is within the stated diameter and the fixing points suit the surface.

Final verdict
A solid pick if you need two compact aluminium cable holders for a lamp cord or DIY cable run and the cable is no wider than Ø 8mm. The included fixings and screwdriver make it a more ready-to-install set than buying clips alone. Better avoided if your cable exceeds that size or you need a complete lamp suspension fitting: these pins are for securing and guiding a cable, not a full lighting system.
