RugVista Barba Rug, 250 x 250 cm, Blue, Medium Pile, Wool & Cotton

A medium-pile wool and cotton rug brings a soft, comfortable layer to your floor. Its blue colour adds a clear accent to a room without relying on a busy pattern. At 250 x 250 cm, it can help define a generous area for relaxing or sleeping. Choose a larger rug to anchor a room, or a smaller accent rug when you only want to highlight one spot.

Quick overview

The RugVista Barba is a handmade indoor rug designed for spaces such as the living room and bedroom. Its medium pile gives the floor a more comfortable feel underfoot, while the blue finish provides a straightforward way to introduce colour into an existing scheme. Cotton and wool are listed as its materials, bringing natural fibres into the room.

The 250 x 250 cm format is useful when you want a rug to do more than sit beside a chair: it can create a defined zone within a larger room and help bring furniture together visually. In a living room, for example, it can help distinguish the seating area from the rest of the space. In a bedroom, it adds a substantial soft surface to the room’s layout. The Barba is also identified as Oeko-Tex 100, a useful detail for shoppers comparing rugs for indoor use.

Cleaning & care

Regular vacuuming on a low setting helps keep the pile tidy as part of everyday care. The care instructions specify dry cleaning, so plan to use professional cleaning when the rug needs a more thorough clean. For a small spill, the care guidance advises blotting promptly and using a damp cloth with mild detergent. Blot rather than rubbing, and follow the dry-cleaning care instruction for ongoing maintenance.

Usage tips

Think about the area you want the rug to define before placing it. Its 250 x 250 cm dimensions suit a more substantial floor covering than a small decorative mat, making it a practical choice for a room where you want a distinct central zone. In a living room, position it to give the seating area a stronger visual centre, in a bedroom, use it to add a soft, blue feature to the floor.

The medium pile gives the rug a noticeable texture, so it can contribute both colour and comfort rather than acting only as a background layer. Pair the blue tone with the colours already in the room, or use it as the starting point for a fresh accent. As an indoor rug, it is intended for rooms such as living spaces and bedrooms. A low-setting vacuum is the everyday care approach described for keeping it neat.

Final verdict

The Barba suits shoppers looking for a sizeable blue rug with a medium pile and a handmade finish, rather than a small accent piece or a plain, minimal floor covering. Its 250 x 250 cm dimensions make it well suited to defining a living-room seating area or adding a substantial soft surface to a bedroom. Wool and cotton, indoor use and dry-clean-only care make its materials and upkeep clear choices for a considered room update.
