OFFCUP V9-12m-FSGLW-FBA Copper Netting, 12.7 cm Wide, Double-Layer Mesh

To protect plants from snails or deter mice from entering through gaps, OFFCUP copper netting offers a flexible material you can shape around the job. Use it as a barrier in the garden or cut it to fill an opening. It is made from double-layer, 99.9% copper mesh. That makes it a practical alternative to applying chemical pest deterrents where a physical barrier is the preferred approach.

Benefits

The mesh can be arranged around plants to help deter snails and other pests, or used to fill openings where rodents may get through. Its tubular, double-layer construction gives you material for either task, while its flexibility makes it easier to shape around garden features and gaps. At 12.7 cm wide and about 12 m long, the roll can be cut to suit different sections rather than requiring a fixed-size barrier. For buyers choosing between a narrow strip intended for one edge and a more adaptable netting, this roll offers the option to form a barrier or plug an opening as needed.

Copper provides a non-chemical approach to pest deterrence, and the netting is described as recyclable. It is also rust-resistant and designed not to leave rust marks on brick or wood, which is useful when placing it near garden structures or around openings in those materials. Buyers have highlighted its use for keeping slugs away from plants, and some also praise the fine mesh. These are customer impressions rather than a guarantee of results, but they reflect the product’s intended garden use.

At a glance

This is a rectangular copper mesh roll, made from 99.9% copper and formed as a flexible double layer. It measures about 12 m long and 12.7 cm wide. Scissors can be used to cut it to the length needed for a plant barrier or gap-filling job. The material is reusable, so it can be shaped for a particular task and kept for future use. Its two main uses—creating a boundary around plants and filling openings—make it suitable for a range of small pest-management jobs around the garden and home.

Care & maintenance

Cut only the length needed for the area you are treating, then shape the mesh to fit the barrier or opening. For plant protection, arrange it around the plants you want to shield, for gaps, use enough mesh to fill the space. The flexible material can be reused, so keep any remaining roll for another task. As with any garden barrier, check its position from time to time and adjust it if the area or plants change.

Final verdict

OFFCUP copper netting suits gardeners looking for a flexible, non-chemical way to help deter snails around plants, as well as anyone wanting copper mesh to fill openings and discourage rodents. Its 12.7 cm width, approximate 12 m roll length and cut-to-fit construction give you a practical way to tailor the material to different jobs, rather than relying on a single fixed-size barrier.
