IWMH 009 Swivel Office Chair in Blue Corduroy with Wide Cushioned Seat

The wide, extra-cushioned seat gives you room to sit cross-legged or curl up comfortably, making this IWMH chair a relaxed choice for a home office, bedroom or vanity area.

Upholstered in blue corduroy, it brings a soft fabric finish and a distinctive look to your space. Its swivel base lets you turn easily between your desk and nearby tasks.

The armless design keeps the seat open for different sitting positions, while the raised, widened backrest adds support for everyday sitting. The chair requires assembly, its backrest is vacuum-compressed and takes around 3–5 hours to regain its thickness after opening.

Practical tips

For a straightforward setup, assemble the chair at home or in the office using the supplied instructions and tools. Once the backrest has been opened, allow it time to regain its thickness before settling in for a longer sitting session.

The broad seat is particularly useful when you want more freedom to change position than a conventional chair with a more enclosed seating area offers. At a desk, the swivel base helps you turn between your screen, notes and nearby items, away from work, the same design makes it a practical accent chair for reading or relaxing. The foot pads help protect carpet and hard floors from scratches.

Pros

The extra-thick, wide cushion and roomy backrest make this chair well suited to relaxed sitting, including sitting cross-legged. Its corduroy upholstery gives the seat a soft, textured finish, while the blue colour can add a clear accent to a bedroom, living room or home-work area.

The combination of a swivel base and an open, armless seat offers a different approach from a standard fixed desk chair: you can turn in place and settle into a less conventional sitting posture. Buyers also describe the chair as comfortable and appreciate its generous size, with comments highlighting its use for lounging and as an accent piece. These impressions complement the practical appeal of the wider seat without replacing your own preference for seating style.
