Glorious Raptor Clicky Magnetic Switches for GMMK 3 HE, 36-Pack, Pre-Lubed

If you want a clicky Hall Effect switch for a GMMK 3 HE keyboard, the Glorious Raptor is designed for that setup. Its click bar gives a more pronounced sensory response than a standard clicky switch, while the pre-lubed POM stem is intended to reduce friction. Would clear switches also suit a build where RGB lighting matters? Their transparent design lets the keyboard backlighting shine through.

Where it shines

The Raptor’s defining feature is its click-bar mechanism, aimed at users who want clear feedback while typing or gaming. That distinct response may be useful when key presses need to feel deliberate, rather than quiet or understated. Glorious also describes the feedback as more precise than standard clicky switches, so this is a specific feel choice, not a general-purpose replacement for every switch style.

The POM stem is pre-lubed to reduce friction during a press. The switches are also transparent, which helps backlighting show through without an opaque housing blocking the light. For someone assembling a brightly lit keyboard, those details give the Raptor a more focused appeal than a basic clicky switch chosen only for its sound.

Key points

This is a Hall Effect magnetic switch, not a conventional mechanical switch for any hot-swap keyboard. Compatibility is specifically stated for Glorious GMMK 3 HE keyboards. In that keyboard, the switches support features including Rapid Trigger, customisable actuation and 4:1 Dynamic Keystroke, those capabilities depend on using the compatible GMMK 3 HE setup.

The pack contains 36 switches. That gives buyers a defined quantity for a keyboard build or replacement, but the product details do not say how many switches a particular keyboard requires. Check your intended layout and the number of switches you need before choosing a pack. The stated material is plastic, and the switch colour is Raptor, with a transparent design for RGB lighting.

Practical tips

Start with compatibility: these are made exclusively for GMMK 3 HE keyboards, so a general hot-swap socket is not enough to establish that they will work. If your keyboard is a GMMK 3 HE, consider whether you specifically want a clicky press and sound, as well as the magnetic-switch features. If you prefer a quieter or softer-feeling typing setup, a non-clicky switch would be a more suitable type to compare.

A solid pick if you are building or updating a compatible GMMK 3 HE and want a click-bar response, a pre-lubed stem and clear RGB pass-through. You may want to skip it if your keyboard is not a GMMK 3 HE, as compatibility with other models is not stated.

Before you decide

Which keyboards are these switches for? Glorious specifies them exclusively for GMMK 3 HE keyboards. The product information does not confirm compatibility with other Hall Effect or hot-swap keyboards.

What comes in the pack? The listing specifies 36 switches. It does not state that a keyboard or other accessories are included.

Will the switches let RGB lighting show through? Their transparent design is intended to let keyboard backlighting shine through, making them relevant for a build where visible RGB is a priority.

When it makes sense

Choose the Raptor when the GMMK 3 HE compatibility, clicky feedback and transparent look all match what you want from a keyboard build. It is a more specialised choice than buying switches simply for a familiar mechanical feel: its appeal rests on the Hall Effect features available in the compatible keyboard and the distinct click-bar response. If those details are not priorities, the product’s defining benefits may not be useful for your setup.
