GAOMON M10K 2018 Drawing Tablet, 10 x 6.25-inch Active Area, Touch Ring

For teachers, students and digital creators who want a dedicated surface for drawing, handwriting or editing, the GAOMON M10K pairs a 10 x 6.25-inch active area with a battery-free stylus.

Its 8,192 pressure levels support subtle changes in line weight, while the touch ring and shortcut keys keep useful controls close at hand. Could that make your regular creative tasks easier to manage?

The tablet connects by USB and works with Windows and macOS systems, as well as drawing software including Photoshop, SAI, Corel Painter, Illustrator, SketchBook Pro and Manga Studio.

Highlights

The active area measures 10 x 6.25 inches and has a 16:9 aspect ratio, making it a practical fit for drawing, animation design, handwriting and other tasks where pen input feels more direct than using a mouse. With 8,192 pressure levels, the stylus responds to changes in pressure for more expressive strokes and clear line variation. It is battery-free, so there is no pen battery to charge before use.

For frequent actions, the M10K combines a touch ring for canvas or brush zoom and scrolling with a round key and 10 express keys. These controls can put commonly used functions within reach while you work. The driver also supports left- and right-hand modes, so the layout can be set to suit your drawing habits. Buyers’ feedback describes the tablet as easy to use and suitable for beginners, with illustration and photo editing among the uses they mention. Views on the shortcut buttons are mixed: some value the customisable controls, while others find assigning functions less straightforward.

Who it’s for

The M10K is suited to learners building confidence with digital art, and to anyone who wants pen input for writing, editing or illustration. Its active area gives you room to work while keeping the focus on a defined drawing surface. If you are choosing between a tablet with an extensive work area and a more compact setup, this 10 x 6.25-inch format offers a clear, measured working space. Buyers also have differing expectations of its size, so the listed active area is useful when planning where it will sit on a desk.

How to use it

Connect the tablet to a laptop or desktop using USB, then install the driver to configure its controls and hand mode. Use the stylus on the active area to draw, write or edit in compatible software, vary pressure for different line weight, and use the ring for canvas or brush zoom and scrolling. The included USB cable supports the wired connection. The listed operating systems are Windows 7 or later and macOS 10.12 or later.
