Earache Records Left Hand Path Vinyl Album by Entombed, FDR Remastered

This vinyl edition brings Entombed’s Left Hand Path to a physical format for listening at home or adding to a record collection.

It presents the Swedish death metal band’s first album, widely regarded as a classic of the genre.

The album has been remastered using FDR (Full Dynamic Range) mastering from the original master tapes.

What matters most

The defining feature of this release is its FDR remaster, made from the original master tapes. That gives collectors and listeners a vinyl edition of the album in a mastering format specifically identified with this release. It keeps the focus on the original album while giving it a place in a physical music collection.

Left Hand Path is Entombed’s first album and a landmark Swedish death metal release. It suits a full-album listen as well as regular rotation alongside other records in the genre. Buyers speak highly of the album and its sound, describing it as true to the character they expect from the music. Those comments are personal listening impressions, while the documented remastering details provide a concrete point of distinction.

When choosing between formats, this edition is for listeners who want the album on vinyl rather than simply adding it to a digital library. The original-master-tape source and FDR mastering make the specific edition easy to identify when comparing vinyl releases of the same record.

Best use cases

Choose this pressing for listening to Left Hand Path on a record player, or for building a collection centred on influential death metal albums. Its vinyl format also makes it a natural choice for collectors who want Entombed’s debut as a physical album, rather than a title held only in a digital catalogue.

It works particularly well as part of a dedicated album session: put on the record, follow the track sequence and hear the release as a complete work. For listeners exploring Swedish death metal, it offers a vinyl presentation of one of the style’s recognised early albums. Existing fans can add the FDR-remastered, original-master-tape edition to a collection, newcomers can start with the band’s first album.

Practical tips

Use a record player designed for vinyl playback, and follow its setup instructions for placing and playing a record. Handle the disc carefully during use and return it to its sleeve afterwards to help keep it ready for future listening. If you are buying it for a collection, the title, artist and vinyl format are useful details to match against the records you already own.

The product is listed with dimensions of 0.46 x 31.14 x 27.64 cm and a weight of 249.48 g. These details can help when planning where to store it with other records.
