COLUMBIA/LEGACY Merry Christmas Zoetrope Double LP – 30th Anniversary

The double-LP format gives Mariah Carey’s festive album a physical place in your record collection, ready for a seasonal listening session at home.

This 30th-anniversary edition brings together favourites including “All I Want for Christmas Is You”, “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” and “Joy to the World”.

Its Zoetrope Album presentation adds a distinctive format to a collection of familiar holiday songs, making it a fitting choice for fans who enjoy owning and playing albums on vinyl.

What to know

Released as a limited-edition vinyl to mark 30 years of Merry Christmas, this is a double LP featuring the album’s festive hits. The track selection includes “All I Want for Christmas Is You”, a seasonal staple, alongside “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” and “Joy to the World”. That mix makes the album suited to putting on during a Christmas gathering, or returning to for a focused listen when you want a full festive set rather than a playlist that moves between different artists.

The Zoetrope Album name distinguishes this edition’s presentation, while the double-LP format makes it a substantial physical release for fans of Mariah Carey and collectors of holiday records. If you are choosing between streaming individual songs and owning a complete album, this edition offers the album as a tangible record to keep, play and revisit each Christmas.

Tips for day-to-day use

Play the records on a record player designed for vinyl, and handle them with care as part of your usual record-listening routine. For an easy seasonal setup, keep the album with your other holiday records so it is ready to put on when guests arrive or when you want festive music at home. The two-LP format is also suited to listening through the album as a collection, rather than dipping into a single track.

Everyday use

Merry Christmas works well as the centrepiece of a festive evening: put on the album while decorating, preparing for a meal or welcoming friends and family. Its recognisable songs bring a clear Christmas focus to the room, while the vinyl format gives listeners a physical album to select and play. It also makes sense for listeners building a collection around a favourite artist or seasonal music, especially when they value owning a specific anniversary edition rather than relying only on a digital library.

When it makes sense

Choose this COLUMBIA/LEGACY double LP if you want Mariah Carey’s Merry Christmas in a limited-edition vinyl format and value its Zoetrope Album presentation. It brings the album’s best-known festive tracks together in one physical release, making it a practical addition for Christmas listening and a distinctive way for fans to keep this anniversary edition in their record collection.
