blumfeldt Crown GDI11-Crown-BK Steel Fire Bowl with Grill and Bamboo Lid

If your garden needs more than a spot to enjoy an open fire, the blumfeldt Crown brings warmth, grilling and a handy cover together in one outdoor fire bowl. Its circular steel design creates a natural place to gather, while the grill grate lets you cook over the fire as part of the same garden setup.

The bamboo lid adds another practical use: place it over the bowl when it is not in use to create a coffee-table surface and cover the remaining ashes.

What you’ll notice day to day

This is a wood-burning fire bowl for garden and patio use, with a steel stand that gives it a firm position. At 45 x 45 cm, with a height of 45 cm, it offers a defined place for a garden fire without needing a separate fireplace installation. The bowl weighs 16.5 kg, and its thick steel construction is designed for outdoor conditions.

For a relaxed evening, light a fire and gather around the bowl for warmth and the atmosphere of a traditional campfire. When cooking is part of the plan, the grill grate makes it possible to prepare food over the fire. That combination is useful if you want a garden centrepiece that can serve both as a fire feature and a cooking spot, rather than choosing a fire bowl intended only for ambience.

What to know

The bowl sits on its stand and is described as quick to set up without assembly tools. The sturdy base helps keep it upright, while the stand also helps protect the lawn from heat. Use it outdoors in a suitable garden, patio or terrace setting, with space around the fire for people to gather safely.

The steel construction has a high-temperature-resistant coating, and a rain cover helps protect the bowl from the weather when it is not in use. The bamboo lid can cover the bowl and provide a table-like surface, let the fire and ashes cool before covering it. An ashtray and poker are also supplied. The poker can be used to move fuel and help air reach logs or charcoal. The grill grate supports cooking over the fire, giving the bowl a practical role beyond providing warmth.

Everyday use

For an evening outdoors, position the bowl on its stand, light the wood fire and use the grill grate if you are preparing food. Once the fire has been fully extinguished and the contents have cooled, the lid can cover the ashes and serve as a coffee-table surface. The rain cover is useful for protecting the fire bowl between uses, while the included poker and ashtray help with tending and clearing the fire. This simple change from open fire to covered surface makes the bowl easier to incorporate into a garden or patio routine.
