BABY born Emma Click & Play 840061 Baby Doll, 43 cm, 10 Functions, 8 Accessories

When choosing a doll, the focus might be on cuddles or on hands-on baby-care play. BABY born Emma Click & Play is made for the latter, with interactive functions and accessories for feeding and everyday pretend routines.

At 43 cm, Emma gives children a doll they can hold and position during play. Her movable arms, including elbow joints, help make feeding scenes feel more natural.

What makes feeding play easier? Emma’s Click & Play hand lets her hold the bottle or spoon in her right hand, while her mechanical functions work without batteries. The doll is recommended for children aged 3 and up.

What you’ll notice day to day

Emma supports a range of familiar baby-care play. Children can act out feeding her, helping her sleep or comforting her when she cries, using the doll’s 10 functions to build different scenes. The activities give a play session a clear focus, whether it starts with a meal at the table or a quiet bedtime routine.

Her movable arms are useful when changing between activities. The elbow joints allow her to be positioned for feeding, and the Click & Play hand can hold the bottle or spoon without a child having to keep it in place. That makes it easier to bring the included accessories into the play rather than treating them as separate props.

Highlights

Emma’s 10 loving functions include drinking, eating, crying and sleeping, with other typical baby processes also part of her role play. The functions work mechanically, so no batteries are required. That keeps the play focused on the doll’s actions and the child’s chosen routine, rather than on battery-powered features.

The set includes 8 accessories for varied care scenarios. These include a baby spoon, a water-reveal food plate, a bottle, a pacifier, a bracelet and a nappy. Together, the doll and accessories offer a practical starting point for pretend feeding and everyday baby-care play. The doll is made from plastic and does not require assembly.

Best use cases

Emma is suited to children aged 3 and up who enjoy acting out familiar care routines. For example, a child can set up a pretend feeding session with the plate and spoon, position Emma’s arms, and let her Click & Play hand hold the spoon or bottle. The same set can then move into play around sleep or comfort, using the doll’s other functions and accessories.

The doll is intended for children aged 3 and up. It is not suitable for children under 36 months because small parts present a choking hazard. For younger children, keep the accessories out of reach.

When it makes sense

Emma is a good fit when the aim is more than simply holding a doll: her functions, movable arms and feeding hand give children specific actions to build into their play. Compared with a play choice centred mainly on cuddling, this set puts more emphasis on pretend care, with accessories that support feeding and baby routines.

For families choosing a doll for a child who likes to take an active role in play, the combination of mechanical functions and hands-on accessories offers plenty of ways to shape a scene. And because Emma works without batteries, children can get straight into those routines without relying on powered features.
