ZKLiLi Cat Night Light Cat-01-remote

The soft silicone cat shape gives this night light a squeezable, tactile feel as well as a gentle glow. Tap it to switch it on or off and move through seven colours, or use the warm white light for a calmer bedside setting. Its cordless, rechargeable design makes it easy to move from a bedroom shelf to a bedside table, and the USB cable is included. Keep in mind that the product details don’t state battery life or charging time, so they won’t tell you how long it will stay lit between charges.

Key points

This is a small ambient light, not a lamp intended to brighten an entire room. The warm white setting is suited to a softer evening glow, while the seven-colour mode adds a more playful option for a child’s room or a cat-themed display. Tap control keeps operation simple: there’s no separate switch to find in the dark. The silicone shell is described as non-toxic and BPA-free by the manufacturer, and it can be squeezed and rebound into shape. That tactile quality may appeal to someone who likes a light they can handle, rather than a rigid bedside lamp.

How to use it

Charge the light with the included USB cable, then tap the cat to turn it on or off and change the lighting mode. For a bedtime routine, the warm white setting can provide a little light without turning on a brighter room lamp. If you want a more colourful accent, use the changing-colour mode as a decorative glow. Its portable, cordless format also makes it easier to reposition when the night light is needed somewhere else. No charging instructions, battery capacity or runtime are provided, so avoid assuming it can last through a particular number of nights without charging.

Practical tips

Place it where a child can reach it safely for a quick glow after waking, or keep it near a bedside table for low-light tasks such as checking on a baby. The product is also presented for use in study rooms, hotels and camping settings, but it’s best thought of as a small mood or night light rather than a primary source of illumination. For example, it could sit within reach during a late-night nappy change, giving a gentle light without switching on the main room lighting. The silicone surface is flexible, but no cleaning method or water-resistance information is provided, handle it as an electronic light and keep it away from situations where it could get wet.

Buying questions

How do you change the light? Tap the cat to turn it on or off and access the seven-colour mode. The listing also describes a warm white setting.

Does it need to stay plugged in? It is described as cordless and rechargeable, and a USB cable is included. The details don’t specify how long a charge lasts.

Is it intended for children? The listing presents it as a companion night light for boys and girls, including children who are uneasy in the dark. Adult supervision and placement should still suit the child and room.

For your situation

It’s a good choice if you want a cute, portable cat night light with tap controls and a squeezable silicone body, especially for a bedside glow or a small decorative accent. It may not suit you if you need strong room lighting, detailed charging information or a light with stated water resistance. Compared with a basic plug-in night light, this one offers cordless placement and colour changes, if your priority is dependable, all-night illumination, look for a product that clearly lists its runtime and charging details. As a gift for a cat lover, its playful shape is part of the appeal, but the practical value depends on whether a soft, small-scale light is what the recipient needs.
