Wildgame Innovations Plasma Ion Unit

Quick overview

For buyers putting together field gear, the Wildgame Innovations Plasma Ion Unit comes with several useful accessories in the box: a battery, a collar-lock mounting bracket and a charging cable.

That supplied kit gives you more to work with than a unit sold on its own. The product name identifies it as a plasma ion unit, but the available details don’t explain its operation or performance.

You may be interested if having the battery and mounting hardware included matters to your setup. It may not suit you if you need confirmed information about runtime, charging time or how the unit performs before choosing.

Best use cases

The included parts point to a field setup where the unit needs to be mounted and powered. For example, while laying out your gear before heading out, you can check that the unit, battery, bracket and cable are all together rather than sourcing those listed accessories separately. The exact mounting arrangement and intended application aren’t specified, so the product details don’t support more specific use claims.

Compared with a simpler buy that includes only the main unit, this package lists more of the components needed to prepare a setup. On the other hand, someone choosing between models based on detailed operating figures may prefer a listing that clearly states those figures. Keep in mind that no dimensions or fit information are provided, so the bracket’s suitability for a particular arrangement can’t be assessed from these details.

Tips for day-to-day use

Before setting off, confirm that the battery, charging cable and collar-lock mounting bracket are with the unit. Keeping them together in your field kit can make it easier to spot a missing accessory when you’re packing. The cable is listed as included, but there’s no information here about charging time, battery life or the type of connection, so don’t assume those details.

The product description also doesn’t give operating instructions or care guidance. Follow the directions supplied with the unit for setup and charging rather than relying on assumptions based on its name. If those details are important to your decision, look for them in the product documentation before purchase.

Buying questions

What comes with the unit? The listed contents are the ZeroTrace Field Generator, a battery, a collar-lock mounting bracket and a charging cable.

Is a battery included? Yes. The description specifically lists a battery as included, but doesn’t state its runtime or other specifications.

Does the listing explain how it works? No operating explanation or performance figures are provided in the available details. The name identifies the product as a plasma ion unit, but that alone isn’t enough to judge its results.

Is it worth it?

The main buying case is the included accessory bundle: battery, bracket and cable are all listed, which may suit someone who wants those items packaged with the field generator instead of assembling a setup from separately listed parts. The trade-off is the lack of practical detail about operation, battery life, charging or mounting fit. If those specifics will determine whether it works for your needs, the current information leaves important questions open. Choose it when the listed kit is your priority, look for a better-documented alternative if you need performance or fit details first.
