Getting the most from it
Pair the headset with a phone over Bluetooth and use the USB dongle with a computer for a practical two-device setup. This can make it easier to move between a mobile call and a meeting at your desk without relying on the computer having built-in Bluetooth. The dongle is described as plug-and-play, with no driver installation required. For calls on a computer, select BT-88 as the microphone and audio output in the computer’s sound settings and in the meeting app.
The microphone’s noise-filtering feature is designed to help keep your voice clearer when there is background activity, while the dedicated mute button gives you a direct way to pause microphone pickup during a conversation. The call button can answer or reject calls on a connected smartphone, on a PC, manage the call through the computer. For video meetings, online collaboration or everyday phone conversations, these controls keep common tasks close at hand.
The on-ear design keeps the headset compact for a desk setup, and the adjustable headband lets you tailor the fit. Soft leatherette cushions add comfort for regular use. The 40 mm drivers serve calls as well as music or other audio between meetings, so one headset can cover more than conference conversations. If your computer lacks Bluetooth, the included dongle offers a useful alternative to choosing a headset that depends on Bluetooth alone.
