Yealink wireless headset BH70

Highlights

For a workday split between calls and Microsoft Teams meetings, the Yealink BH70 brings a wireless headset, boom microphone and meeting controls into one lightweight setup. It is listed at 147 g, with three built-in microphones and up to 35 hours of talk time, so its appeal is practical: stay connected without wearing a heavier headset or reaching for the computer every time a meeting starts.

It is Microsoft Teams certified, and the headset can join a Teams meeting with one click. Red visibility indicators light during calls or meetings, a useful signal in a shared office when you want people nearby to know you are speaking. The microphone system is designed to reduce background noise picked up during calls. Keep in mind that this describes microphone performance, the information provided does not establish that the headset has active noise cancellation for what you hear.

How to use it

Use the BH70 for calls and meetings where voice clarity and hands-free movement matter more than a long list of entertainment features. Its three MEMS microphones are intended to help limit background sounds reaching other participants, which could be handy when colleagues are talking nearby. The listed USB-C-to-A connection detail is worth matching to your work setup before choosing it, particularly if you expect to connect through a specific port.

The stated talk time is up to 35 hours, according to the manufacturer. Treat that figure as a talk-time claim, not a promise about music playback or every pattern of use. The description also mentions a music mode with dynamic EQ, but does not provide playback-time figures or detailed sound specifications.

Practical tips

For a busy open office, the red indicators and noise-focused microphone design address two everyday annoyances: interruptions from nearby people and background noise on calls. They may help make a conversation more manageable, but they do not make a shared workspace quiet. If you need to block noise for yourself, look for clear confirmation of listening-side noise cancellation rather than relying on a microphone feature.

The headset is described as lightweight and intended for extended wear. That makes it worth considering for back-to-back meetings, though comfort still depends on personal fit. The listing does not give details about adjustability or ear-cup dimensions, so shoppers who are particular about fit may want more information before settling on it. Compared with a basic wired call headset, the BH70 adds wireless use and Teams meeting control, a more demanding audio-focused buyer may prefer a model with fuller listening specifications.

Before you decide

Does it work with Microsoft Teams? It is Microsoft Teams certified, and the product description says you can join meetings with one click from the headset.

How many microphones does it have? Three built-in MEMS microphones are specified, with a design intended to reduce background noise during calls.

Is the battery life stated for music as well as calls? No. The listing gives up to 35 hours of talk time, but does not specify music playback battery life.

In your case

May suit you if your routine centres on Teams calls, you work around other people and you want a lightweight wireless headset with a substantial stated talk-time figure. It offers a more meeting-focused approach than a simple wired headset, without enough information here to judge it as a dedicated music-listening choice. Maybe not a fit if you need confirmed active noise cancellation, detailed fit measurements or a stated music playback runtime. Those gaps matter more than the headline call features if your main priority is blocking noise or choosing by exact fit and audio performance.
