VIVOHOME VH424 8 ft Firewood Rack with Zippered Cover, Steel Frame

When firewood needs both a tidy place to stack and cover from the weather, a rack-and-cover set brings those jobs together. The VIVOHOME VH424 pairs an elevated steel rack with a fitted black cover, helping keep logs organized outdoors while allowing air to move around the stack.

For a pile that needs more than a cover alone, the raised rack and downward-facing vents provide a practical way to store and air-dry firewood.

Who it’s for

This set suits households that keep firewood on a porch, deck, patio, in a garden or yard, or under eaves. Its 8 ft rack provides a defined space for stacking, while the cover helps shield the wood from rain and sun. Keeping logs off the ground also supports airflow beneath and around the stack, making the arrangement useful for everyday outdoor storage as well as drying.

It can be a good fit for anyone who wants a more organized alternative to leaving a covered pile directly on the ground. The rack’s freestanding design makes it suitable for a chosen storage spot, and the included cover is made to pair with the rack rather than being a separate, loosely sized cover.

Why it makes sense

The rack uses 1.2 mm thickened steel tubes with a double powder-coated finish. The cover is made from 600D Oxford fabric with a PU coating, combining a substantial fabric construction with a waterproof layer. A UV-resistant coating helps protect the cover in sunny conditions, and the fabric is described as resisting cracking in hot or cold weather.

Downward air vents help ventilate the covered stack and reduce moisture and condensation. Together, the raised storage and ventilation offer a useful approach for keeping firewood more orderly and away from dampness. In a practical setup, logs can be stacked in the rack under an eave or on a patio, with the cover providing a weather barrier while air circulates through the vents.

The cover includes a zipper and is designed to fit the rack. Installation is described as easy, and routine cleaning can be as simple as brushing the cover. For buyers choosing between a basic holder and a covered storage setup, this combo adds a purpose-matched cover while retaining the airflow benefits of an elevated rack.

What to know

The rack measures 8 ft x 4 ft x 13.8 inch, and the cover measures 8 ft x 3.5 ft x 24 inch. Both are black. The set includes one firewood rack and one firewood cover, making it a complete rack-and-cover arrangement for outdoor firewood storage. Its recommended use is firewood, and the freestanding format is suited to placing the stack in an appropriate storage area.

To make the most of the design, stack the logs on the rack and position the cover over them so its vents can help maintain airflow. This combination is intended for storing, drying or heaping firewood in outdoor spaces such as a yard, garden, deck or patio.

Final verdict

The VIVOHOME VH424 brings together an 8 ft steel firewood rack and a fitted, zippered cover for a more organized outdoor woodpile. Its raised design, ventilating vents and coated materials make it a practical choice for people who want to store firewood off the ground while adding a layer of weather protection.
