Vitafit VT701 Smart Digital Bathroom Scale, 400 lb, LED, App Sync

The Vitafit VT701 has a tempered-glass platform and a clean black finish for everyday bathroom use. Its backlit LED display makes your weight easy to read at a glance. Want to see more than a single number? The companion app records weight and body-composition readings so you can follow changes over time.

Getting the most from it

Step on the scale for a weight reading, then use the Vitafit app to view and store a broader set of measurements. The app presents 13 body-composition indicators, including BMI, body fat, water and muscle, in an at-a-glance dashboard. That gives you a way to keep related readings together rather than relying on a weight-only record. You can set goals and view progress graphs by day, week or month, making it easier to keep a consistent personal tracking routine.

The scale supports unlimited user profiles, so household members can keep their readings organized separately. A zero-current mode is also available for babies and children when you want to measure weight and BMI only. For routine use, place the scale on the floor and use the display for weight, the app is where the wider set of body-composition information is shown and stored.

Where it shines

The VT701 is suited to a personal routine where tracking over time matters more than taking an occasional weigh-in. A basic digital scale focuses on the number shown on its display, this model adds app-based records, body-composition readings and progress graphs. That combination can help make weekly check-ins more informative and keep measurements accessible on your phone. Its compatibility with Apple Health, Google Fit and Samsung Health also gives you options for bringing scale data into a broader health-tracking routine.

Buyers often highlight the straightforward setup, ease of use and usefulness of the tracking features. Feedback is mixed on accuracy, app quality and connectivity, so experiences with those aspects vary. The scale’s combination of an on-device weight display and app-based tracking will be most useful to someone who wants to follow several measurements as part of a regular routine.
