A black tempered-glass platform gives the scale a clean look, and three AAA batteries are included to get started.

Why it’s worth it

This scale centres on clear, straightforward weight tracking. Its stated readout accuracy is 0.1 lb, and the large-number LED display is designed to make readings easy to view. That can be helpful when you want a quick check as part of a regular morning or evening routine, without having to interpret a more involved set of measurements.

The step-on feature makes it easy to begin a weigh-in, while auto calibration and auto shut-off handle useful parts of everyday operation. Choose lb, kg or st to match your preferred unit. The scale has a maximum capacity of 400 lb/182 kg and a flat platform measuring 10.9 x 10.9 inches.

Customer feedback commonly praises the readable display, ease of use and appearance, with users also describing the readings as accurate. For shoppers focused on tracking body weight rather than choosing a scale around a broader range of measurements, this direct approach keeps the daily task uncomplicated.

Quick overview

The Vitafit VT7279 is a digital bathroom scale for weighing people. Its platform is made from tempered glass, with a black finish and an LED readout. A lightweight design makes it practical to move or store between uses, while the automatic shut-off helps manage operation after a weighing.

The scale uses three AAA batteries, which are included, and the package also contains a user manual. Its three-unit selection gives you a choice of pounds, kilograms or stones. The 0.1 lb readout increments and 400 lb/182 kg maximum capacity make the key measurements easy to understand when comparing options for routine home use.

Practical tips

Place the scale where it is convenient to step on for regular weigh-ins, then use the unit selection to choose lb, kg or st. The step-on function is suited to quick readings, and the LED display presents the result directly. Keeping to the same unit from one check to the next makes it easier to follow your own weight record over time.

For a simple bathroom setup, the included AAA batteries mean the scale is ready to use without a separate battery purchase. Its black tempered-glass finish also gives it a restrained look that can sit naturally alongside everyday bathroom furnishings.
